Hello there

I tried to install the BWP last weekend, but I seem to have run into a dead end, cant get it to run.

What I did:

I previously had BGT installed on a fresh install. It became corrupted when I tried to Install DoSC so I unistalled it and reinstalled BG2 + TOB + Patch. Started both BG2 and TOB.

Then downloaded the BWP installation file (think it was the 9.5 version) and ran it. I choose a recommended Installation with the addition of 2 Mods from the standard installation. The installation went by almost smoothly, it couldnt install some of the NPC mods and another minor mod that I cant remember.

I thought everything was ok. The BWP tool said that all the mods were installed successfully (apart from the NPC and other mod). Though when I started the game, nothing had changed. I was presented the normal BG2/TOB start screen and when I started a new game it was a completly normal GB2 game, no BGT nor any other mod was recognised.

So my question is.

What did I do wrong? What should I try to get it to run. Do I need to redownload all those mods through the BWP setup? That took me like 3-4 hours, and I am not going to do that again any time soon.

Any advice?

Go to the game folder and open up the WeiDu.log file and you see what mods you installed...
And then, if you have more questions on what you did wrong, there's file called BiG World Debug.txt, put that to an archive(.zip is the most recommended) and upload the file to the forum post, as members can do that in the Add Reply via the Attachment console at the bottom...
