Well, I have been playing through BGT after installing after so long without playing the game after discovering this great mod could make BG1 bearable on a new comp.

Problem is, I've been absent minded in regards to Imoen and her dual class, I half expected Imoen to start either nagging me about it or come "as she was in BG2" when getting out of the cage.

Discovered this is not the case, now she is around lvl 9 and this presents an issue after Sarevok, she won't have her thief abilities to help me through Irenicus' Dungeon..what can be done?
(Yes, I'm also aware that if I give her a +1 int tome and import her, she'll be much stronger like my PC who has 18 int too :P)

I'd like her to be able to get thief abilities back at least for that section of the game, on that note, IS it a good idea to dual imoen this late?

Also, is it possible to get her potrait switched to her BG2 one?

Well, you can always drop her out of the BG1 -> BG2 transition and you'll get the vanilla BG2 Imoen. Well, it's not entirely vanilla if you use the Level 1 NPCs or other mods, but still...
If that's not the optimal solution, you can use the ShadowKeeper to make a few adjustments, or the console... yes that's cheating.
For example you can dual her to a mage in the game and then set her enough XP to level her up to the 11th level mage to get the Thief abilities back, and then reduce the XP back to zero or close and not use the mage side for a while if you don't feel like it.
The portrait is easy to edit with the ShadowKeeper too.

Hmm, what would you say about dualing her at 9 and keeping her there giving her a +1 int tome?

Well, it's your game, so you do as you will...
Should you understand by the way, the Int stat doesn't do much in the BGII game, and depending what rule mods you use, the 17 or 18 in it doesn't do much, if anything at all. This is the vanilla table... where the max spell level is not even taken into account.
