I emailed Shi woo, the author of this mod, and he has granted the community permission to edit it.  This was the email conversation:

"Greetings, Shi woo!

There has been community interest in updating your mod The One Drizzt to EET (Enhanced Edition Trilogy) compatibility.  I assumed you would allow it, but do you have any objections if the community takes it over?

"yes, I give permission the community(anyone related Spellhold Studios ) to edit/change/upload any resource of The One Drizzt.

 

I only ask that cite the source when redistributed or combined with creations. Other than that, you can freely use it as open source.
