Semaj's Cloak
Cloak of Displacement
Cloak of non-detection
...?

All these have an effect while equipped. As far as I could find, only the blur-effect of the Cloak of Displacement can be disabled (and the code looks complicated). But the same effect of Semaj's Cloak can not, which is inconsistent. Same with the blue sphere of the Cloak of non-detection.

Because I could not find any posts about disabling those, I though to start one. So, in case one has an idea for disabling those visuals, feel free to write it down.

You have to use opcode #291 (disable visual effect) on the .itm files for those and you have to apply that opcode before whatever opcode causes the effect. If that sounds complicated, eh, well it isn't really but does require some modding knowledge. You could hack around the items with an editor but it could also be done with just a few lines of WeiDU code. I'm surprised something like BG2 Tweaks doesn't do it already, unless those are mod items (I think one is at least, which would explain it). Also I didn't think non-detection by itself invokes that ugly blue sphere - does it in the normal game?
