Hi there found a couple of bugs
1) if you recruit Skye and then kick her out , Fifi the cat is transfered to the PC's inventory and can't be removed
2) Yeslicks last selection command sound comes out all warped
3) the Pocket watch bought from Kagain cant be removed from inventory
4) the small and medium portraits for my most of the NPC's Dont match
5) During Chracter creatation when selcting the portrait for the PC this Mod replaces the Orginal Portaits that where used orginally by NPC's and again suffer from the mismatch in the small and medium portratis and many have the small portrait where there should be a medium one
6) Should Monty be on Level 1 when you find him ?

Thanks for the good work look foward to the next release , it will be nice to see Faldorn and will be intresting to see how you explain why would want to travel with the PC

I also encounter that Skie's unremovable Fifi problem after kickout but i not sure that this is BG1NPCSoA problem so i didn't report it.

Keto has done same thing always with her unremovable Wine Bottle and now for the first time also Edwin dumps his unremovable Amulet after kickout. I don't know what causes these problems.

I don't like unremovable items so i usually change them removable. They causes problems at Soubar later in the game.

Also that Pocket Watch was unremovable if i remember correctly among some other items from Kagain's store. But i can't say that these are caused by this mod or any other mod. There many mods that meddle with stores.

Yup, you are right. They both were bg1x26. I'm surprised it passed through WEIDU.. I've changed Lanfear's dialog to BG1XLNF.

That will be changed for the next version. I've made Fifi movable now and changed the slot where she goes.

You mean the one where he whistles? I have edited with Audacity so helpfully it will help with the distortion.

I noticed the same thing is Throne of Bhaal, because it uses the larger 210x330 size pics instead of the medium ones. When I first started modding, the tutorials I read told me I needed two portraits 38x60 and 110x170. It was not until later that I learned that having an extra one for the larger sizes helps.

Has to do with not having the proper sizes, 210x330 as mentioned above. I've changed the portriat names to end with 'M' now, so they won't overwrite the original large portraits, but you will still have mismatched portrits in ToB unfortunately.

6) Should Monty be on Level 1 when you find him ?


I remember having a discussion on a different forum about how there were no thieves that you could mold into your own image b/c they either came along too late or were already set in their ways. Making Montaron level 1 was an attempt to change that.

However, if you need an in-game explanation as to why he is weaker than in BG1, I could always add a short backstory on him losing all his skills after becoming a drunkard at the Sea's Bounty or something of the sort.

Thanks for the good work look foward to the next release , it will be nice to see Faldorn and will be intresting to see how you explain why would want to travel with the PC.

Here is the latest version of the mod. Thanks for your patience guys.

EDIT: I know I promised you guys it would be TRA-ified, but with the TRA folder it is exactly 30.1MB, so a bit to large to make as an attachment. I tried making it an .ACE file because it compresses the data down better, but it won't attach that file type. Sorry... :(

Great to see mod updated.

One question. Where is bg1x26.d file?

One comment. You should add backup folder to zip.

Sadly though i can't test this new version because i have BWP to finish. But great mod and looking forward to try at my next BWP-install. :coolthumb:

Hi bug report
1) Skie when she is kicked out of the party and is sent to the inn she won't talk to you again.
2) when you talk to the carvan merchant guarded by the Genie in the water garden and ask him to show you his wares causes the game to crash.
3) when you meet Faldorn in the shadow temple she has the same opening dialouge as she did inTOB.
Hope things are going ok and thanks for the new realease.

I like Xzars new items he and Branwen where always two my Favorite NPCs from BGI and its great to see them so well written.
anyway sorry to say more bugs to report
1) Kagain TOB will not load up , I loaded the first Kagain for SOA, Weidu mentions something about a missing dialouge file for a Banter.
2) When you have Both Xzar and Monty in party and talk to Ployer in the Seas Bounty Xzars Dialogue fires of fine but it repeats the same dialouge for monty under Xzars name (with Montys Portrait)
3) when any of the NPC's are kicked out in TOB they want talk to you again , Apart from Faldorn who will talk to once ,
4) Faldorns dialouge seems to be jumbled she stil has her orginal meeting dialouge in both TOB and SOA and her fate spirit dialogue seem to fire when she is kicked out of the party,
5) the Game seem to Crash when you first talk to Edwin I guesses thats what he ment by a less syalble intensesive workout
May I ask you do raise Ajantis I have his body from Tazok but I cant do anything with it do I cas raise the dead on him or do I need to talk to somone to raise him or have I missed something right in front of me.

I may just be missing something or being totally stupid - which I am guilty of being both sometimes haha!
But where is Garrick? I can't seem to find him in the Sea's Bounty anyway on the dock?
Sorry if the answer is something really obvious that I have missed.

hi there to get Garrick you need to watch all of his attempts woo the paladin outside of the order of raident heart. the first onehappens at night only. after he get ditched by her head to the bottom floor of the seas bounty . becareful taking him to the top floor of the Five flagons because their will be a fight

Hello,

I'm about to start the BG2 portion of my BGT game, and finally decided to give this mod a spin. I'm getting the following error during install, with the "Kagain: ToB" component:

ERROR: Sys_error("BG1NPCSoA\\MISC\\KagainBanter1.d: No such file or directory")

I'm guessing this is bad, and obviously, the component does not install. The rest of the installation went without a hitch. This is with version 5.0. I'll report back if I find other problems.

I have had the same problem with TOB Kagain , I have just got BG2, I thought it was due to the fact I havent installed all parts and the the banter file might have apeared in the crossmod banter part of the mod.
