regen hp / mana mod?

A mod to regen hp would be nice.

Nothing drastic like 1hp every 30secs / only heal 50% health.

Maybe also something that heals faster when you are more injured like a formula . Max Hp - Current hp * X  or something.

And maybe instead of constantly resting to get spells , a system that uses mana instead? I mean mages in this game have become a little
gay from a main character wizard perspective. Your opponents are always fully rested and have max spells so its somewhat unfair.

Let me know please. Something that is compatible with the baldur's gate trilogy mod would be nice and bg1 especially.

Mods aside, generally resting is free, so your characters can also always have max spells.

I've drafted up a semi-TC mod that basically allows your enemies to regen and regen-spells as well, I suppose it might make sense to have that for the players also.

I would be interested in seeing the hit point regeneration aspect come to life, though I don't think it to be a matter of pressing importance. I would cast my vote for a slower than 1 per 30 rate, however, and would recommend slower healing for more serious injuries as opposed to faster. Cuts can heal over in a matter of hours, but broken bones take forever to mend.

I feel that the current spell system is fine, but I'm not everyone.

Edit: Multiple options and optional content are everybody's friend.

Isn't this what iispellsystemadjustments is supposed to do? (though i don't like the warning of "slower game".

Well, it's a bit radical change to the game ... but if one puts the timers so that for example the 7th level divine and the 9th level arcane spells revise every 8 game hours... it begins to be somewhat less radical. That's the idea I was after when I updated the mod to the v5.

The HP regeneration has it's problems... well the problem that when you load a save game where some of the characters don't have full HPs, sometimes they gain all of them.
