WIS:12
CHA:10
feels like an outcast over his father, a human, in a culture of only elves. eager to prove himself just as strong as they are
QUEST:helping him track down the person who assassinated the prince of the small
citystate that he comes from, then, to return them alive to his homeland for questioning, choices <CHARNAME> makes shall influence his actions and even a possible alignment change
(some) more story shall be posted soonish

Here is the custom kit of Vench:
The Royal Assassin is the Perfect Fusion of stealth and the arcane, all to kill those that threaten the crown. They act as bodyguards, spies and assassins. They prefer short and longwords, and only those of extraordinary speed and keen intellect are even bothered with. They have mastered some simple spells for use on missions.upon entering their order they swear an oath to protect and serve their king.

Advantages:
- +2 to maximum DEX
-at levels 7 and 13 gains the spell invisibility
-every 5 levels gains 1 use per day of melf's Acid arrow up to level 20
-can summon a familiar to help him
-at level 13 gains "stinking cloud"

Disadvantages:
-must be of LG,LN,or LE alignment
-must be Elven or Half-Elven
-must have at least 15 INT
- can only use longwords and short-swords with any skill

*EDIT*
have removed the part about the geas because it did not fit with the direction of the story and interaction with other players.

please give feedback as to your opinions, good or bad, and this is my first mod, so I'm apologizing in advance for all balance issues and bugs.

The kit makes no sense for <CHARNAME>, so it should be a separate NPC.
Being an Assassin without a quest to Assassinate is a lil odd.
In case of a quest, Assassination is hardly an occupation to joke about, especially one with a Geas on them.
With a Geas cast on them early on, individuals probably are Lawful and good at Negotiating instead of having -8CHR.
Alternatively, they could be completely social outcasts, only killing in the shadows, making the Chaotic.

And if you're interested in feedback on your mod, it might be good to write what Acid Bolt and Cloak of Shadows does.
-5 STR and -5 CON are very serious penalties, you should reconsider since it doesn't make sense to the Kit.

Cheers.

hmm, forgot to do that.
acid bolt=essentially melf's acid arrow with name change for styleization, in hindsite original name more suited.
cloak of shadows= invisibility, same reasons, will change to original spell name.
thank you for your feedback, i realy apreciate it

I keep silent on almost all Kit mods, since they are usually Overpowered (based on my unreasonable, anal-retentive standards)
Yours is the only one that actually looks somewhat weak, so I thought just to table a few thoughts.
Hope it helps.

it has helped a lot, i was/am worried about overpowered kit mods, which annoy me, and i can never seem to find an wizard/thief with myrealy picky balance between the 2. will make him a bit stronger, and give him a good quest, but much of this will be put on hold, i prob wont be able to use a computer for most of august, but come september, will have a small team of nerds(my freinds) to help with things like story, voicing, a portrait, and other such things.

The following post assumes that your Kit is a Thief Kit.

I once played an NPC Assassin with average stats, she proved very weak and more a liability than Asset. Your character is even more disdvantaged than that, without backstabbing bonuses and with invisibility (that any Thief can apply via Potions), and 2 very weak low level mage spells (and UAI allows casting of all Mage spells by any Epic thief). In return, he takes hefty Stat bonuses, including STR penalties that prevents his primary job of doing damage, CON penalties that ( well actually it doesn't really do anything on a singleclass Thief ) and seriously, seriously, seriously limited weapon choices that make him all but useless except for the task of Melee, which his STR makes him just as badly suited for.

So I suggest you rethink the concept carefully.

If you're not convinced, try playing your character in a party of 3 through BG2 on Core Difficulty from the beginning, with Stat penalties as per the kit and the use of some scrolls etc (since he can't use scrolls, you can just have the game paused, select drink a potion, then replace the potion with a scroll. he will start casting it even though he doesn't have Use Any Item). I have little doubt you will find him very weak compared to other Biowares.

Edit : oh and I suggest using another name for the Kit. It is likely to be confused with Bioware kit Assassin.
