BGT stuck during installation

So I`am having problems installing the Trilogy, it gets stuck while copying a file.

I`am using the Big world program and choose the recommended version, downloading and unpacking went well.
When it comes to installing the mods and Trilogy it installs a couple mods before the Trilogy but when it comes to the Trilogy installation it gets "stuck" at copying a file (doesn`t say which one) and as of yet have been stuck at the same place for 3 hours.

Is it supposed to take this long and I should wait or is there something wrong?

Have followed the guide from the manual.

Okey, one stupid question though, I can`t seem to find a file called big world install.bat?.

Okey, one stupid question though, I can`t seem to find a file called big world install.bat?

It's extracted to the game directory when the BWS extracts the files... it's then actually ran when the BWS main view goes away and the black CMD.exe box comes to view, at which point you need to end it, edit(Notepad) the file and rerun it after your modifications and saving is done.
The edit makes the program stop in the middle of the installing as it asks you to press Enter to continue, so you can manually install the BGT by running the setup-BGT.exe in the game directory and give it your own BG1 folder, and after that's done, you can continue the .bat by reactivating its black box and pressing Enter.

Hi! I got the problem with the instalation.
What if program doesn't ask about the path of BG1? It asks about the language, then asks: install, no install, quit? And then: FAILURE: Cannot find folder with BG1.
I tried with BGT 1.04 and 1.12.
Before installing BGT I installed BG2 Fixpack.

I tried with BGT 1.04 and 1.12.

Use the v1.12... and answer the given questions, first give the language and then push the i to install... it will then probably report that the game is not installed in to the default install folder to which you can insert your own install folder.

Delete the BGT folder from the game folder, and re-extract the v1.12 to the game folder and tun the setup-bgt.exe and then open the setup-bgt.debug file with Notepad and copy paste the info... as it cannot be the same, it might be alike...

I'm having the same problem, I think.

Wanted to install BGT 1.12 just after the German Text-Patch and BG2 Fixpack, no other mods.

Installiere [Baldur's Gate Trilogie - Hauptteil] [1.12 (12 Jun 2011)]
Creating 1 directory

Copying and patching 1 file ...

Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden. (*)

(*) Means that it's unable to find the given path. The error happens in the TP2 at line 140:

AT_NOW ~BGT/Install/PreInit.bat~
I put an echo and pause into the PreInit.bat, but it doesn't happen. Then I put the absolute path to my BG2 installation in this line, and the bat is executed now. But it hangs at the next call with a relative path:

call BGT\Install\PreSetup.bat 2>&1|BGT\Install\mtee Setup-BGTDOS.DEBUG
I echoed %CD% and it gave me "C:\", what makes sense because of my changes to the absolute path in the TP2.

Problem is: The relative path with AT_NOW doesn't work anymore, but don't know why.

I'm using Windows 7 x64 and Weidu Version 22900.

Ok, found the solution: I deleted the windows environment variable %CDAUTORUNPATH%, which was set to "C:\" (I set it in TuneUp so cmd starts there). I also put my BG2 path into the Path variable to be sure, but this normally should not be necessary. Now BGT asked properly for the path and installation is running. :)
