Photoshopped original art that will fit right in with my BG 2 mod!
2. Male or female? What race, age and character class, possibly alignment?
Male, githyanki, clearly around 32 (by human years), Fighter/Mage, Lawful Evil
3. Describe the character's features (face, eyes, hair, clothing, etc)
Name: Feng'Sraosha'dar (NPC Companion mod)
He has an angular face with a defined Adam's apple, high cheekbones, Asiatic eyes with catlike pupils and thin lips. Like all giths he has a small, straight nose with snakelike nostrils. His hair is shoulder-length and he has multiple silver piercings in his ears. There are a few ritual notches cut into them.
Clothing:
Black and deep red hanfu (reference included) brown leather vambraces with armor inlaid with some knotwork in silver with garnets. It's a refined, tasteful look befitting a kith'rak (captain) in the githyanki military. Scarring would be appropriate, given his training, even though he's more of a spellcaster.
4. What color preferences do you have (skin, eyes, hair, armor, clothing, etc)?
Black hair with brown lowlights, steel-grey (slightly darker ring) irises. I want to avoid the 'loud yellow' look when it comes to his skintone. A pale golden-yellow will suffice with the typical mottled pattern of speckling for a gith along the neck and temples. If needed I will add a colour swatch
5. Would you like a weapon, a spell effect or an item to be shown in the portrait? If so, what kind?
I'm not picky....just keep it Baldurized
A hanwei blade with a faint aura indicating it would be a +1 longsword. Nothing loud. Background should conform to a BG standard
6. What kind of a background would you like?
I leave that to the artist.
7. What kind of an expression would you like the character to have? Dangerous, happy, serene, mysterious, playful, sad, etc etc?
His entire demeanor is that of a soldier, but has a definite edge of someone approachable and accustomed to being an 'older brother' and mentor-figure.
8. Do you have a portrait you would like to be used as a model/reference picture (for pose, expression, looks, colors, etc...)? Post it here if you have:
See the very bottom for the pose.
9. Time limit:
Sooner rather than later, but no need to rush.
Hair:
Hair style reference
Long in back, shorter font, likely fastened with a hair clip
Clothing/Armour:
Sword reference picture - Chinese Hanwei blade
Colour Scheme for Hanfu Robe
Pattern for Hanfu
Note: the sleeves would be cut narrower to facilitate freedom of movement when wielding a blade and easier wrapping to fit under the vambraces.
