Hi.
I wanted to use this mod for a multiplayer game (Starting from BG1 with BG2). Before this started however, I had begun SoA and ToB for the first time, singleplayer. I did 2 installs to make sure I didn't have any problems, one in program files and another on the desktop. I extracted the BGT files to the install in program files. However, it doesn't matter how I install it, BGT is installed on both "versions", meaning I can't have both (Continuing single player game in BGT is buggy, I get BG1 dreams and abilities etc). Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

BGT is installed on both "versions".... Is there a way to fix this?

Are you sure you actually try to start either of the games ?

Open the "baldur.ini" files in both directories... and paste the relevant info. What info, you should already know...
But before that, what are you using to start the games ?

I'm using the "baldur.exe" to launch the game in both cases.
Baldur.ini is fine, I think. Is this what you want?

Desktop Install
[Alias]
HD0:=C:\Desktop\Baldurs Gate 2\
CD1:=C:\Desktop\Baldurs Gate 2\
CD2:=C:\Desktop\Baldurs Gate 2\
CD3:=C:\Desktop\Baldurs Gate 2\
CD4:=C:\Desktop\Baldurs Gate 2\
CD5:=C:\Desktop\Baldurs Gate 2\
[Game Options]

Program Files Install
[Alias]
HD0:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\
CD1:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD1\
CD2:=C:\Users\User\Desktop\BG Games\BGII - SoA\CD2\
CD3:=C:\Users\User\Desktop\BG Games\BGII - SoA\CD3\
CD4:=C:\Users\User\Desktop\BG Games\BGII - SoA\CD4\
CD5:=C:\Users\User\Desktop\BG Games\BGII - SoA\CD5\

I'm using the "baldur.exe" to launch the game in both cases.

Use the BGMain.exe's as the .exe you use just starts the Frontend program that uses the Windows Registry to start the game... the one and the same game both times.

Ah right. Launching BGMain gives me an error. First a box says "-1" then "An Assertion failed in ChDimm.cpp at line number 834". (Desktop Install)
This method seems to work with Program files install though (Where I want BGT to install)
Any ideas?
