Hi!
I have just made an Mega-install,(English),but for some reason there are people speaking German.
Do I have to make a new install or can this be fixed ?
Thanks

Is it the commoners or everybody ?Do I have to make a new install or can this be fixed ?
If it's the commoners, you can suffer it, but you won't miss that much... but if you don't wish to, then yes you have to reinstall, the most probable reason is that you have the Jarls BGT Tweak Pack mod.

What happened was, component #23 of Jarl's BGT Tweak Pack somehow slipped into the English version. The .pdf has it down as only intended for our German friends. I don't know if it's been found and fixed for the English version, but anyone viewing this thread can check for themselves and make sure they get the sounds appropriate for them:
Go to your BGII game folder.
Open Big World Install.bat with any text editor, notepad works just fine.
Scroll down until you get to this block:
Simply delete component #23 from line 2, and move it to line 3, so the block looks like this:
Save, and close.
That'll prevent it at install-time. If you've already installed and have the German sounds, toss the attached files into the override folder.
