Open the file called "setup-GUI.debug" with Notepad or similar program and copy paste the text to a new post....
Actually you can, you just have to use the tutorial menu. So the start of the tutorial actually starts the new game in Candlekeep.I would play without it but I cant start a new BG1 game without it..

Do as the above poster, the setup-GUI.debugs content...i'm having the same problem, any solutions?
It would seem to me as if the above poster didn't have fully started BGII game before installing the BGT mod. Or they got the error made by reinstalling too many times. As it's not possible to install the setup-GUI mod before the BGT...

[SETUP-GUI.TP2] ERROR at line 37 column 1-45
i can't post the log, i've uninstalled all the stuffs
Now i've reinstalled the game without SOS, Darkest Day, CTB and Big Picture....and the GUI work 100%
I've always lunch the file Setup-GUI.exe after everything.
SO the problem was generated by that mods above.
I'm playing with this mods, installed in this order, and ZERO problems.
- BG2 Fixpack
- Baldur’s Gate Trilogy
- UnfinishedBusiness per BG
- Unfinished Business for BG2
- Baldur's Gate Trilogy Tweak Pack
- Baldur’s Gate Trilogy - Music
- Widescreen Mod
- Restored Textscreen Music
- Setup GUI

There is a few exceptions, but generally you should install the Widescreen mod after the GUI mod, because the GUI that is Graphical User Interface, is fractured into several pieces and the result becomes really unusable. The two BGT-Weidu GUIs are the exception, for some reason...I'm playing with this mods, installed in this order, and ZERO problems.

Yes, the problem is actually caused by one of the SOS, Darkest Day, CTB and Big Picture mod installations, but it's not the only cause... because the setup-GUI.tp2 is generated during the mod installations time, and as the BGT-WeiDU is clearly the latest of the mods in this aspect as it actually caries the only unified compatible installer for the system...SO the problem was generated by that mods above.
How this should be resolved, by somebody with the sufficient knowledge on the files in question, especially the programming of the BGT GUIs, as the other mods need to adapt to the new system, so the GUI is not broken even if the Widescreen mod is installed before the setup-GUI... even though that is never going to be recommended.
PS: the work doesn't end to the SOS, TDD, CTB and BP mods, it also needs to be adapted to all the mods in the list in the above linked post.
