Put the version of oggdec.exe from that archive into the Kivan/ogg folder (overwrite the existing oggdec) and reinstall the mod. Don't let BWS do it or it'll probably just overwrite it again with the funky version (though there should be some way to disable that in the BWFixpack or whatever it is that does the overwriting). Once the mod is installed though, it should be safe to resume BWS.

Good news everyone!

The installation worked (almost flawlessly, but no biggy).

I pasted the oggdec.exe file in the folder once setup was completed, right after I've configured the install, at the beginning of installation.

Only little bumps:

- Faren's issue regarding the absence of the Chloe mod did a comeback. (Chloe component of Faren not installed due to error: just annoying timewise because it halts installation.)

- Dark Horizon was not installed, but that's my own fault: chose a Standard install and forgot to modify the install.bat accordingly for Dark Horizon (tactical mod). :S

I'm about to run the game now to make sure everything is ok.

Thanks for your help everyone, and again a special nod to Leo for giving us this awesome tool!

Faren's issue regarding the absence of the Chloe mod did a comeback. (Chloe component of Faren not installed due to error: just annoying timewise because it halts installation.)

Reported this (and posted a fix) a while ago. I'm surprised they haven't included it in the BWFixpack, as it is pretty easy to fix (just replace the existing Faren/crossmod/chloe/fhfchloe.d with the file there).

Just to take the initiative to point it out:
There's basically only one guy that puts up the install-/fixpacks and that's Leonardo himself.
No disregard to Fennek or others that collect bug-reports and oddities or others that I may have missed.

If you want to help out by testing/fixing/whatever I'm sure help would be appreciated.

Well, this bug went away once the fix was put in the first time around. I've been trying various installs since and the issue never came up again until now.

Well, if one finds a fix or prepares one and it's not posted in the fixpack-thread (or not sent to Leonardo), the probability is rather high that it won't be found. Mr. L :o is absent, as far as I know.

is the ToB Ex kit scroll not working for anybody else? This seems to be the only hitch in my 9.9 install, and completely bypassable with ShadowKeeper, so it doesn't bother me too badly. But I figured I'd check and see if it's affecting anyone else using BWP 9.9.

And this has... what to do with this topic? May I suggest you might get more help in the TobEx forum?

seemed as good a place as any to ask around and see if it was an isolated issue or not, short of creating another topic.

Turned out to be an install hiccup. After a reinstall, all is well. ToB Ex is working marvelously.
