I just installed BGT for the first time but did not install BGII Fixpack before BGT. Can I uinstall BGT in order to add the fixpack? Or do I have to start over?
Did I just screw up my install of BGT?

Yes, you can uninstall BGT and then install fixpack. Just make sure Fixpack goes before BGT, else your Worldmap will be funny.
