I tried installing the BP-Ascension related components along with SCSII on a fresh installation of BG and I got these errors:

Did you install '~SETUP-BPV180.TP2~ #0 #0 // Big Picture AI/Enhancement Mod, version 180: v180ba BWP Fix'?

Please post your WeiDU.log

In the mod selection list, I see a component called "Big Picture AI/Enhancement Mod, version 180" which I did not install because I only wanted the Ascension components to be used with SCSII. I don't see anything that's a "BWP Fix." Where would I find the Weidu log?

Your WeiDU.log is in your BGII - SoA folder. I think there is no bug or problem. From what you posted 'SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Ascension for BP' Ascension installed correctly. The other components are horred's improved bad guys and require BP's core to be installed.

I'm pretty sure that I could install ascension and the guys without BP core.
THINK! - It's not illegal.

I very well maybe wrong, but the components a are looking for something (spells) in the Stats.IDS that are missing or in the wrong place. My best guess (without seeing the WeiDU.log) is it is lacking BP core. If this was installed with the BWP.

Just for show / Prove of concept on a (hopefully) clean installation.

To sum it up, I just installed this and nothing else:

SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Ascension for BP
SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Improved Abazigail
SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Improved Gromnir
SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Improved Illasera
SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED Improved Yaga-Shura

So the question is:
Why do those ids get messed up?
Is there a limit to the number that can fit in those files?

Doesn't install.bat/BWS dump some .ids files into the override during installation?
