MosPack v0.92
by Yacomo
-------------
MosPack is a tiled image compressor for Infinity Engine games (like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape Torment).
MosPack is based on TisPack by Per Olofsson.
The engine's native format for tiled images is the uncompressed, 8-bit MOS format. MosPack converts MOS files into compressed MOZ files, compressing them down to about 7-35% depending on the content. The MOZ unpacker is then shipped together with the MOZ files, and the MOS files are unpacked during installation.
This utility is aimed at mod authors who wish to add new images in their mods, without having stupidly large downloads.

this version of mosunpack:
mosunpack 0.92 mospack by Yacomo 2005 based on tispack © Per Olofsson 2004is included for the BGT (Baldur's Gate Trilogy) WeiDU installer, but it doesn't work (by default), since it needs libjpeg62, but since 2010 feb. ( http://lists.debian....2/msg00006.html ) libjpeg8 should be used (as that is installed on current linux distributions by default).
it would be much appreciated if you could either upgrade the code to use libjpeg8 or link libjpeg62 statically..
thanx in advance

Apologies for the very long delay. The archive has been updated with 32- and 64-bit GNU/Linux (compiled against Debian 7 and libjpeg8) and 64-bit OS X (courtesy of GammaLeak) binaries.

Niche issue, but MosPack (specifically mosunpack) is broken on M1 Macs. I have written a hacky solution for it that allowed me to install Worldmap, but I am not very familiar with C (read: total newbie), so I can't guarantee it's error-free. Here is the download link in case anyone needs it: https://drive.google...VFE?usp=sharing. It also requires compiling libjpeg8 from source, as it no longer comes with macOS, the homebrew install is the wrong version and is not located in the right place (as far as I can tell).
