Hey Folks,
i dont write this in my natural language so please excuse bad style, mistakes or if I chose the wrong forum for this question. I have the following problem. As a tribut to some old frends i startet a BG1-TOSC-BG2-TOB run with a bunch of mulitplayercharacters all by my one. After finishing BG1/TOSC i installed BG2/TOB and the Triolgy Mod. I saw that you make quite some changes, and are not sure that i recognized them all. Now straigth to my problem: I not quite sure how much healtpoints every of my characters should have at this point in the game, depending on the premise that i got maximum healthpoints by each levelup. In my group are to find:
T.B. Human; Magic; Con: 18; Lvl: 23
E.D. Dwarf; Fighter; Con: 19; Lvl: 27
A.T. Dwarf; Cleric; Con: 19; Lvl: 29
C.T. Dwarf; Thief; Con: 19; Lvl: 32
So please share youre knowlege.
Thankful

Well, the maximum hitpoints for each character is mostly class based, and how many levels they have, and the constitution just adds a bonus that's also class based.T.B. Human; Magic; Con: 18; Lvl: 23
E.D. Dwarf; Fighter; Con: 19; Lvl: 27
A.T. Dwarf; Cleric; Con: 19; Lvl: 29
C.T. Dwarf; Thief; Con: 19; Lvl: 32
With the original game rules, the maximum hitpoints should be as follows...
Your mage should have 68 hit points.
The fighter should have 171 hitpoints.
The cleric should have 130 hitpoints.
And the thief should have 130 hitpoints.
This is because the mages, fighters and clerics hitpoint total caps at level 9, after which they gain a set number of hit points per level, those are 1, 3 and 2 in the said order. For thieves the cap is level 11, and the set hitpoints is 2. Before those levels the character maximum gain is constitution bonus + the class dize. The Fighters(paladins and rangers) have a class dize that's 10 (d10), and they gain the warrior constitution bonus that's for Con of 19 is 5 hitpoints per level, so it totals to 15 per level the first 9 levels.
The mages have class dize of 4 (d4), and they gain the non_warrior constitution bonus of 2 when they have constitution of 16 or above... so the max is 6 hit points per level for the first 9 levels.
The Clerics have class dize of 8 (d8) and the same non_warrior constitution bonus of 2, so the maximum is 10 hit points per level the first 9 levels.
And the Thieves gain the class dize of 6 (d6), and the non_warrior constitution bonus of 2, totalling to max of 8 hit points per level, for the first 11 levels.
