Just something I noticed today:

HPBARB.2da only supports up to level 40, resulting in no HP gain if level 50 rules are installed and barbarian level > 40.

My question to you then is: does level 50 rules modify HPBARB.2DA so that it accounts for the extra 10 levels? TobEx will not do that for you.

No, as those mods haven't been updated in a long time.

The problem with this is, that too many mods would have to be updated. Mods containing level 50 rules are The Darkest Day, Region of Terror, Big Picture, BG2 Tweaks and some old level 50 mod.

The minimum amount of work, with maximum effect would be the following:
Get someone to update BG2 Tweak's component(s) and let ToBEx provide a level 50 HPBARB.2DA, or are there problems with a level 50 2da in a normal level 40 environment?

Mod affected. Rogue Rebalancing v4.47

TobEx causes Sap, the club which knocks NPCs unconscious instead of killing them, to stop working properly. It also prevents fists from knocking NPCs unconscious as well. Thread about it here: http://www.shsforums...-bwp11-install/

Might be this one from Beta 23:
-Damage Fix: Additionally fixes a memory leak bug when fist damage would make the target unconscious

Try setting Damage Fix=0 in TobExCore.ini and check if the problem is gone.

So, now you are asking that TobEx provide two options as to how to implement those level 50 rules? The compatibility options won't work if TobEx is installed first in the mod order. It is better, then, that a completely separate mod is made (or added to some tweak mod) that will make the modifications if hpbarb.2da is detected.

Yes, please, thank you for not crufting up ToBEx with code that is far outside the scope of what ToBEx is.

Hi A64. On v0022, the tweak "Disable End On Player1" is not proposed during the install.

That's because it should be used by modders only. If all you did was activate that tweak hack, you would break the game.

Problem with TobEx_Beta0024_test_120517. I installed it on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. and i'm getting this:
BGMain.exe - Sytem error
This program can't start because MSVCR.dll is missing from your
computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Its not missing from my computer at all. tobex 22 works just fine.
what has changed?

Hmm, you possibly may need the Visual C++ 2010 runtime libraries after all, but mainly because I compiled AsmJit using CRT10.0. Does a console window still stay open? I expect not, which means TobEx isn't even loaded.

double click BGmain, then a couple of seconds later. The wee box about MSVCR.dll pops up. i click ok then it goes straight to the game. Using version 22 there was a wee black command box that pops up, which says the version of extender your using. In this version, the command box doesnt appear.

edit. Downloaded and installed the program from that link you just posted. The wee command box pops up now with the version of extender, then goes to the game. Thanks mate

AS soon as i started playing the game again the quicksave was broken, and everytime i was in a fight it was crashing to the desktop. I put the tobex.dll from TobEx_Beta0024_test_120424_2 into the SOA directory and quicksave is working again. Changing the dll will probably cause other problems.

edit Been playing for a while now. The games not crashing during fights anymore.
