i seem to be having a problem with some people in the game have sentences for names and it messes with the text in the dialogue box it seems to be only unimportant people but my buddy did find one that was a character you can add to your party....... any thoughts?

It sounds like you've started a game, and then uninstalled/reinstalled some mods. In order to fix it, some NPCs have 'string-fixers' (check their readme). The alternative is to start a new game.
