One thing though... The more I see these screenshots cropping up all over the Internet, the more I'm thinking... All those skin shades seem really dark, bordering on a greyish black. Anyone else get that impression? I mean, just look at their Redguard, the skin tone is really different. (Not that different is necessarily bad, mind you, is a bit disconcerting at first, I'll probably get over it )

Personally I don't care anymore, although I'm still annoyed by the extra step of booting the client (offline) every time I want to play a game - playing Dungeon Siege III at the moment. We can confirm today that we're using Steamworks for Skyrim

It's taken me a little while to like this female Dunmer screenshot. I like the fierceness and the facial scar. The brow ridges are scary though and I don't like how scrawny she looks. We've seen all these male characters with defined muscle tone and I was hoping it would be possible to make a female character that looked both strong and athletic. I was hoping for arms that show muscle definition at least.

I hope if there's a brawny option for males then there is a similar one for female characters.
I think the first female argonian picture, lizzle-bob from Destructoid, is a bigger looking character build than the robe/hooded one.

My Breton mage will be overweight if I can make it happen. They should at least make it possible for people to use an out of shape sort of look. I hate the whole Conan the Barbarian look people are expected to go with. Make a note modders!Yes it does look like there will be a body slider which will be good, depending on how it's implemented for different genders though.
Don't even get me started with Khajiit and fat. Oh, look it's a fat cat... especially if they've got a high Mercantile skill. Savvy?

Yeah, I know. The fact is though, that there are so many great mods that Bethesda will only implement improvements from the most popular ones per a new TES title. Let's hope they paid attention to this detail.Well Modders made it for oblivion so bethesda should be able to do it.

A high Mercantile skill will allow you to make more money. And what can we call big money people, or in this case Khajiit? Fat cats. Pun most definitely intended!

Conclusion, I love that dog in the screenshot and I will hug it and pet it and squeeze it and call it George.
The woman's brow ridges makes me think of Buffy 'verse vampires, which is bad.

Going by the picture Argonians will naturally be high on drugs in this game (IMO).

One Hour With Skyrim Finally Made Me a True Believer (Hands On) (at Ripten)
The article's well worth a read, if only because of all the details regarding the world, and the little comments on how certain things have been streamlined (and not unpleasantly so).
