So I have an issue after installing the standard BWP. So far I've only had time to try the Mage and he can't equip slings or any armor/robe and since there's no error code I was wondering if anyone can think off the top of their head of any mod in the standard selection that dabbles in changing equips for classes. With finals coming up I don't have time to check every single debug file to see if there is a line that says unsuccessful installation. Or if any of you know of any shortcuts that could help me. :D

Well, --change-log the file called "slng01.itm", and you have a list of all the mods that effect that item(&slings). How you make the ---change-log ? Well you read the answer #6, here.

There's also the possibility that if you use a mage(or a specialist) that the chance is made within the kit you use(mod like Refinements).

I have some personal comments

My Char (mage-cleric) can wear and use anythings ...but it has slowed casting time and slowed dex.
(Jaheria and Gavin that are priest have the same penality ...
What is the mod that do it ?

I do non like Items randomizer too.

Haw may I esclude these mods from a new BWS automatic setup ?

(I am plaing a tactical build to check what mods I like)
There are too much joinable NPC(for me). I will esclude those that have not quests.

Imoen has a kit that improve her, she is very important in the story therefore it is OK for me.
Jaheria has an "Archer" Kit (named "Priest of Sylvanus" I think) ... this kit for her perplexes me ...

Thanks

Item revisions component.

You could just restrict yourself to the items that don't restrict your casting speed(so that's robes, elf armors, no shields, no heavy armors).
Or you don't install the mod(use the "Further customization of your mod-settings" tag in this screen), in which makes the armors etc unusable, or use some of them(and suffer the penalties like a man), in case you don't like those options though, you might wish to use the BWS beta and unselect the component or select another component... like the one that allows you to use the platemails without any penalties, but that's almost che....

I think the BWS beta's screen for detailed mods selection... Very impressive!!!!!

Yes it is that I wish.

Could you add mod's classification (such as R,S,T,E) and type (big, quest, npc, bg1, bg2, items, rules) ?

Could you add on the form a hyperlink control to the mod's home ?
(There is one in the mod.ini)

Thank you very much

If you refer to the BiG World Setup.vbs coder, dabus is the primary one(as far as I know) yes.
You might wish to look for this list.

Uh, I don't really understand. It already has what you ask for.

A) Mods are classified. You can select them at the beginning and they are selected respectively. They are colored so that you can see to which class they belong to.

B) In the past few weeks I rewrote some parts of selection window and had to spend a lot of time to sort the components to the categories.

Please note that every single components is put to it's category, so some mods may be split up. I added a small note to inform you about that and you can use the context-menu to jump to the next part of the mod. Read the help on the right side of the screen to find out more about it.
By the way: I also got the first note/complain that the old way of displaying it was better for guys who are used to go through the PDF and want an option to disable that kind of sorting.

C) There is the bold i-button between the selection and the description-box at the bottom. If you click on it, the link is executed resulting in your default-browser opening the homepage.

@Jarno: If you put it like that, it sounds like the thing is written in vbs but it's just the little rascal that starts the AutoIt3-part. ;)

If anyone wants to help out with coding or keeping its configuration current, I'd really appreciate it.
