When BiG World starts doing it's thing (after all of the mods are successfully extracted), and the DOS box opens, everything seems to freeze after a few minutes. It keeps getting stuck at "patching file 'amber\scripts\m#boy1.baf". This seems odd, since I have already installed successfully via my desktop.

My Netbook is a Dell Mini 10v running XP

Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?

Now thaat you are a member, upload your "BiG World Debug.txt" in an archive file(.rar, .zip or whatever) and let us see what happened, yeah, the file should be in the game folder.

Deactivated account. The user today is known as The Imp.

Figured out the problem! The issue was in the internet connection. I shut it off to begin with, but the mini has both a wireless and radio internet connection (the radio connected). Anyways all works (except multiplayer)

Need to figure out how to connect a Vista Desktop with an XP Netbook. I would like to use the widescreen mod on the desktop, but I have read multiple locations that in Vista you need to run in windowed mode
