Hey everyone, just joined as iv suddenly got the urge to play through the BG series again and would like to do it with weidu. however when i try to download weidu to my computer it only lets it open with windows home cinema! in the installation instructions it says you should extract bgt109install to the bg11 install directory, but i dont know where that is and the file doesnt need to be extracted anyway! any help would be great, im using vista dont know if thatll make a difference

If it's a .rar file, you'll need a program that will let you extract it, like 7-Zip. Then follow the instructions in the readme to install it.

There is no BG11 directory, it's "BGII - SoA" -directory.yes, the 'I's are roman 1's, in which the 'II' means 2, the III means 3, the 'IV' mean 4, the 'V' means 5 etc.

Now then, by default the BG2 game should suggest to install(in it's installastion program) it to be installed to "C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA" ... but I would recoment to install it to C:\Games\BGII - SoA or similar locations, as the game is old and it's files are overwriten when they are modified... after you have installed the BG2 - SoA and the BG2 - ToB and the patch 26498(if you need to), and also installed the BG1 & BG1TotSC & the 5512 patch to another directory, you just extract the latest BGT(BGT110-install.rar) to the previously made "BGII - SoA" directory and then run the "setup-BGT.exe" to install the mod... plah plah...
