I have a problem in worldmap when i'm trying to leave Waukeen's Promenade and start the chapter 2. Slums is greyed out and only places in Athkatla are City Gates and The Arena. Also traveling time for both places is 20 hours not normal 0 hours. I did have almost the same problem at my previous install (it was made last year) but it was only for the traveltime 20 hours.

I notice that there previously been similar problem My link But it doesn't have any solution for the problem.

I was also wondering are any others who have the crash with greater whirlwind attack My link Sorry for blaming Tales of Anegh. :crying: It probably doesn't anything to with the crash.

Spoiler

Hi,

I had this problem once but I don't know what cause this problem. However, I know how to go around : you just have to leave the promenade and go to the City Gates. From there, you will be able to go to the slums.

Hope this helps.

Thanks :D i know that but then i suffer "20 hour penalty". I used CluaConsole instead. Even though you move to the wrong spot (at entrance of planar sphere) you are hijacked by Gaelan Bayle and then you can continue normally.

I'm more intrested in finding out what cause the bug and is any chance to fix it. Now i have to CluaConsole out from Waukeen's Promenade for the rest of the game if i don't want to suffer "20 hour penalty".

OK
However, I've recently read on this forum that there are side effects when using CluaConsole to go to an area (I don't remember who write this). If I remember well, he said that some BCS script that should be stopped when leaving an area won't stop with CLUA...

Hopefully, Others will be able to help you ;)

It was from my post... and you can get that fixed by consoling to an area that's easy to leave, like the Gate District, and then just leave that place too via the Worldmap. That's why the Gate District is always the best answer for being stuck at a point in the game.

I'm having the same problem with my newest Mega-mod install. My weidu.log is attached, if anyone has any suggestions for things to try, please let me know. I've got a batch file to automate installation, so I can try things pretty quickly. I do run the Big World Fixpack before installation, and I know that it's removed quite a few bugs. Once that gets to the point where you can change each item in a mod, it will be the greatest Baldur's Gate Tool ever...

The Big World Setup program already does this.

I am not sure what could be doing this. You could try doing a weidu --change-log on ar0700.are and perhaps ar0020.are. See the pinned FAQ if you need more info on how to do that (basically open a command prompt to your game folder and type weidu --change-log ar0700.are).

How do you use the Setup program to change individual mod components? I've not seen any kind of listing, item-by-item, for each mod in there...

I mean that it needs to have the ability to turn on/off via checkboxes each individual component. (eg, under BG2_TWEAKS, a checkbox for each option like #2040 'Universal Clubs') The only way I've seen to change the components is to edit the batch file 'Big World Install.bat' after Setup runs, which is decidedly unfriendly comparatively speaking.

Yes, it's there under the "Further customisation" checkbox. You need to download the BWS beta program from that link though.
