Hello there. This probably sounds kind of crazy but I bought Baldur's Gate in 2003 but never got round to playing it until about a month ago. Now I am hooked. I have completed the game and am now playing BGII and I am already scouring for ways to continue this awesome gaming experience (which is how I found Spellhold Studios).

However, I have a problem which I hope the experts here will be able to assist me with.

After I complete BGII I plan to do clean installs of BGI and BGII and then install BGT and various mods. Practically every mod instruction (including BGT) stresses that BGI and TOTSC needs to be on the latest patch. But it is unclear to me what I am supposed to do for the following reason:

I have a 3CD pack of Baldur's Gate with TOTSC included but it is NOT The Original Saga.

Therefore none of the instructions from Bioware about patches quite match my situation since I have neither a 5CD version nor The Original Saga.

I have little expertise on these matters. Is there any way to tell whether it is already patched to the latest version (like TOS)? And if it is not already patched to the latest version precisely which patch(es) should I be installing to bring it to the right situation for BGT and other mods?

If you install BG1 and TOTSC then apply the latest TOTSC patch you should be right.
