Does Protection from Undead work on Skeleton Warriors (4000XP) you met in Durlag's Tower? Minsc and my Kensai get our asses handded back despite two scrolls cast by Viconia.

Skeleton Warriors are not counted as undead in BG1 and BGT inherits this.Next Question:

However, is there anyspell (other than Protect against Evil) work on them in BG1? Fireball is chancy. MM and Orbs doesnt work at all. IN the end I can only lure them out one at a time and mob it 6 on 1.

well, that's the wayYeah, Infinity Explorer list their class as human. I must ask just to be sure.

Try to increase your CA. There are some 2-level illusion spells which can help you... I don't know their English names, but one is a sort of distortion, the other creates many images of the mage (mirror image?). Or, send Viconia, who should have a good CA
And try to backstab them, in bg you can do it to undead.

You want General for telling if they're undead or not. In this case they're General - Monster.Yeah, Infinity Explorer list their class as human. I must ask just to be sure.

That sounds.. odd. Like bug/oversight-odd. Is that how it should be (PnP), or not? And if not, is there any mod/tweak that changes their class?Skeleton Warriors are not counted as undead in BG1 and BGT inherits this.

If I recall correctly, they are supposed to be immune to Turn Undead. I don't think Bioware had implemented immunity to Turn Undead in BG1, so Skeleton Warriors not being counted as undead may have something to do with that. That sounds.. odd. Like bug/oversight-odd. Is that how it should be (PnP), or not?

The 0 XP only stuffs up if you make a new character, so there is no point in subtracting any XP for an imported char. The 'gain -1 quest XP' is inconsistent. Make a new char like that got it but import that char in another New Game doesnt show that line.
Disabled for consistency issue.3. It seem that if we encounter and get camp address from Deke, the cowardly bandit north of FAI (?) the game disable Raiken and Teven. Because I find groups of neutral bandits but not them.
Probably because they are worth 0 gp in BG2.7. Which shop buy books? I've got a full collection of books and scrolls stored where Officer Vai stay, but he doesnt buy them anymore.
Minor error I probably won't change, since the description indicates 2 Handed Type anyway.8. Spider's Bane isnt fully transferred into BG2 version yet? Its description said Profiency Large Sword, 2 Handed Type, but there's no Large Sword anymore. Shouldnt it be 2Handed Sword or something?
I think I will need some more clarification on what BioWare intended for BG1 here.Does Protection from Undead work on Skeleton Warriors (4000XP) you met in Durlag's Tower? Minsc and my Kensai get our asses handded back despite two scrolls cast by Viconia. Skeleton Warriors are not counted as undead in BG1 and BGT inherits this. How do we kill Demon Knight in the last level of Durlag's Tower? I mean, IE say he got only 2 Fireball memorize but the damn demon send dispell magic, power word kill, and lots of other high level spell to mess me up. Do you guy touch him up somehow? I know he's a grandmaster with his twohanded sword.
For your info, my party is at quite highlevel comparatively of BG1 since I do play around a bit with those Skeleton Warrior on the false stair. ~200000XP each member.

He casts all his spells from script so what he has memorised doesn't matter. Additionally he cheats in that he casts several spells in the same round and have Power Words that are wildly different from the genuine stuff. BGT does not alter it as far as I know.Next question:

Well, cheating and having more power than used to is not really the same thing... but those spells are given to the Demon Knight by another mod, not the BGT, yes. The SCS, or another mod does that...He casts all his spells from script so what he has memorised doesn't matter. No, he casts multiple spells per round and uses more powerful Power Words in vanilla BG1 and in "unmodded" BGT.Well, cheating and having more power than used to is not really the same thing... but those spells are given to the Demon Knight by another mod, not the BGT, yes. I dont mind dangerous enemies like that. Make me feel 15k XP is so worth it.
It's a curiousity that Viconia with her native 50mag.resist can resist successfully his spell, as it should be. Yet if I send Minsc in doped up with magic blocking, one dispell and puff he go.

As an experiment with dual class, I tried the build Beast Master/Cleric.
New game BG1.
Beast Master made: No problem.
CLua to level12: No problem. invest in club, sling, dualwield and one point in swordshield.
Dual to Cleric:Choose skill, quarterstaff and 2handed weapon. Press Dual: The game freeze.
Okay, is that supposed to happen?
