BGTrilogy, all I want to ask

1. Is Zhurlong no longer no-loss-rep killable? I remember my 1st game when I kill that little bugger for he KEEP STEALING from me even after I gave back his boots. This time is a 5REP loss, ouch. I have to delay bootgiving a little to find more stuffs.
2. Are Jaheira and Khalid immediately always leaving the map when they are dismissed? I didnt remember this behaviour in my old game. And if they leave where can we find them?
Leave at that for a start, shall we.
(Technical: I install BGpatched, Bg2patched, then BGT only, no other mods).

A long read...
As for questions 1 and 2, both are as BG1 behaviour. Zhurlong still causes rep loss when killed, and Khalid and Jaheira leave to disappear completely.

Now I have another question: Is there anyway to increase banter speed, as well as NPC's comments? Preferably within Trilogy and not with more mod.
If its a no, then which mod work best with Trilogy?

Change to another subject: High Master (4pip) and Grand Mastery (5pip).
I heard that BG2 got some problem with HM and GM, namely the engine wont handle them correctly, meaning no effect from HM and GM. Is this problem addressed in BGT? My Kensai got to level six and he get HM in Quarterstaff but the record screen show no increase in To Hit, Damage. ThacO lower 2 points but that is.
Also another subject: my illusionist halfling named Tymora Mystra inBlue got a -1 in experience quest just when the game Start. what the?
Tymora is the name of goddess of luck, and Mystra is goddess of magic, inBlue because my custom portrait as well as her colour is in blue.

Well, the reason for that is that the program we use to modify the starting xp might give problems if we adjust the starting XP to be zero, so we just but it to 1 and then reduce the number by one when the game starts... What comes to the Grand Mastery, in the normal game, the extra proficiency just adds damage to the hit, and possibly reduces the weapons attack delay, so for example the Two handed Sword is faster when used in GM'ed user than just a regular Proficient one. Also as in the normal game, the Proficiency(2 stars) grands +1/2 attack per round. And the Warrior levels grand +1/2 at level 7 and +1 at level 13.Also another subject: my illusionist halfling named Tymora Mystra inBlue got a -1 in experience quest just when the game Start. what the?
What comes to the 'True Grand Mastery' tweaks, the mods add in features that make the character able to attack more time in a round, the True Grand Mastery Tweak add +1 attack per round at GM(5 stars), it also adds more damage and Thac0 bonus to the proficiencies...
The BGT itself doesn't change the original game, so you have to install the BG2 Tweak Packs mod, or some other mod that has such component if you wish that to take effect in the game.

The 'gain -1 quest XP' is inconsistent. Make a new char like that got it but import that char in another New Game doesnt show that line.
EDIT: Righto! More question
1. The throwing version of certain weapon class: Dagger, Axe. Did that throwing version use skill of that class? Throwing Dagger use Dagger skill? and etc?
2. When we jump from BG1 portion into BG2 portion, there will be transfer of a few characters into the next: Imoen, Viconia, Jaheira, Minsc, as joinable NPC, and Coran+Safana as quest NPC. Will their character sheets transfer as well? Meaning if I use manuals to increase Imoen's CHA and INT, will that transfer as well? OR the BG2 portion use the character sheet of BG2? I must know for sure before I invest these highly limited items on anyone else other than my main PC.
3. It seem that if we encounter and get camp address from Deke, the cowardly bandit north of FAI (?) the game disable Raiken and Teven. Because I find groups of neutral bandits but not them.
4. What does mage get from specialization in lv7 and lv12? I know that warriors get a +1/2 attack on 7 and I guess the same in 12, but what does mage/anyother class get from specialization?
5. My fighter will dual to mage at lv10, so he got lv7fighter spec, but will mage get anything at 7 or 12 in this case?

@2 - yes, BG1 version of character will transfer, so imoen thief 8th level/mage will remain that way. And Jaheira with 18wis also
@4 - nothing - only fighter-like classes get additional attack per round on 7th, 13th and then even further (with mods like tdd). Monk has special bonus. clerics, druids, mages, bards etc. are limited to 1 attack per round, and neither 7th or 13th level increases it, nor weapon specialization (2* or more).
@5 - if you dual him at 10th you'll have just 1 base attack + 1/2 from 7th level + weapon mastery (1/2...3/2 IIRC). After dualing to mage and getting fighter abilities back you can still grand master weapon you did specialize as fighter, but IIRC none other (I might be wrong at this). You will not get any other ability from fighter class... so no fighter HLAs after 3mln EXP. Just mage's.

Well, that's only if they are your party members in the transition... and you didn't modify the character to have other things.@2 - yes, BG1 version of character will transfer, so imoen thief 8th level/mage will remain that way. And Jaheira with 18wis also

6. This is plain Trilogy only, so I want to ask about Kivan. The elvish said his wife was killed by Tazok but when my party approach that ogre by way of Raiken, he's silent as grave. And after a successful force attack on Tazok in bandit camp he still hasnt uttered a word. What? Did his subquest not work in plain BG (and plain BGT)?
7. Which shop buy books? I've got a full collection of books and scrolls stored where Officer Vai stay, but he doesnt buy them anymore.

9. My Kensai and Imoen, can they be dual into specialist mage? IIRC, I can dual Fighter and Thief into (S)M in BG1 lo so many years ago. But right now the option seem to be plain mage.

8. The description got switched the wrong way around... so indeed the whole thing is off.8. Spider's Bane isnt fully transferred into BG2 version yet? Its description said Profiency Large Sword, 2 Handed Type, but there's no Large Sword anymore. Shouldnt it be 2Handed Sword or something?
9. My Kensai and Imoen, can they be dual into specialist mage? IIRC, I can dual Fighter and Thief into (S)M in BG1 lo so many years ago. But right now the option seem to be plain mage.
9. No, the old special mages are mage kits, and you cannot dual to a thief in BG2, it's in base game rules. Technically, we could make a mod that allows that, but it's a horrible to make and use.

He has several interjections if you install the BG1 NPC Project. I think that he just didn't have any interjections in BG1.6.

Books are worth what.. 1GP? 5GP? My recommendation would be that you quit hogging all the books you find and stop worrying about a buyer - it's just not worth it.My memory trick me, then. Oh well.

9. I cant seem to get the Aldeth quest. I finish the cloakwood mine but havent set foot into Baldur Gate town. reputation 20, reaction is +8. What? Why? I thought that is because my group has Faldorn, but reform her out and Aldeth still refuse to speak with me.

And make your own house may work in Elder Scrolls series, not in Baldur's Gate series.
Though the pocket of Bhaal in TOB comes close.
