You'll have to find the latest news by yourselves during my absence, but I'm sure you'll manage.
You'll hear from me again in August. Have a great summer!

I'm curious about the "new design" for elves and dwarves.
(And when I say "curious", I mean "looking forward to the inevitable trainwreck".)

Oh...my. What's with the Hamlet impersonation in the concept art?Anyone seen what's happened to the Qunari? They've had a major overhaul. Not sure how I feel about their new look yet, personally.

It's all that horse riding in Ferelden. The human woman's legs look a bit weird...
Actually I think it's a poor attempt at the, obligatory, sexy stance that females of all races in video games have as their repose.
The female faces, particularly the human, look a bit doll like. Too smooth, featureless.
Pity you can't play as Qunari. It's the only female shape that looks appealing.
Although it does look like she's challenging all comers to attempt to remove her breast bandage while she tears their arms off.

That's pretty much what the fantasy genre does: use parts of real world cultures, customs, and so forth, and then modify them to suit the setting being used. Then there's the second part of the process where you add the fantasy elements, one of which in this case are the Qunari creatures themselves. Personally I don't see anything politically incorrect here. I do think that the Qunari now look too much like Draenei from World of Warcraft though. I guess we might even see a Qunari female as a romance option.I always suspected qunari were demonic, with their idea of conquest and their treatment of mages and women. My only concern is that, um, Tevinter/Qunari bits were based on Bysantine/Arabic bits. From the real world. And making one side looking demonic... er, doesn't look good.
