No problem. And yeah, BioWare isn't going to list that many stores, just some major chains.Oh, thats nice, thanks. Didn't catch anything there a few days back, and since they're not listed on Biow site I thought they didn't have it (though I guess it should be kinda obvious they won't list every damn local shop xP ).
I wonder who this secret char will be...male...female...darkspawn...or dog's little puppy girl or boy?!
Well, let's speculate! Race... most likely human, could be an elf, male or female. It could also be a female qunari born without horns - I don't think a male qunari would be that lightly built.I think we can rule out dogs etc. the silhouette on the advert looks like an humanoid of indeterminable gender. o-o
Considering the fact that the character is wearing some sort of armor, I'd say that there's an arrow quiver on the characters back, as opposed to a mage's staff. Archer again? Place your bets...

-The hip area would IMO hint at a female. But it could be only some luggage or some of the useless armor designs.
-Whatever the character is wearing seems to come with baggy sleeves, so probably not a heavy armor.
-The right hand silhouette seems a bit manly (IIRC, some Biow dude made a point of improving female hands for the game, as compared to DAO .p).
-The collar seems quite high... I wonder, would Bioware really put so much cloth on a female character? .p
-The hair looks a bit short-cut... Though it could be a ponytail or something.
And yeah, I'd agree with the arrows + quiver approximation for the jutting-out-junk.
So, I'm gonna call it a Male Elf Rogue for now. .p

Yeah, not in the vanilla game when it's launched... but wouldn't it make sense to develop a companion DLC for that, I mean it'd sell well, right? Ok, maybe I'm stretching this a bit too far, but at least that'd be original (like Shale).Bioware have already stated that there are no female Qunari in the game. Both DG and MK have commented at length on this.
Hm... I'll go with a Female Human Rogue (Archer) then! Now I wonder where I've seen these characters before...Hmmm...

Oh, and they've now included Verkkokauppa.com on their list. It's not up on the main site yet though.
And just because this made me laugh:
I'm tempted to go off on a rant about how impatient people really annoy the hell out of me,how since retailers are not part of EA it takes a little time to get things fixed and how "wahh wahh wahh you guys don't love us because you didn't wave your magic wand and fix my issue overnight wahh",Looks like no love from EA for UK consumers
but instead I will say "Thank you for your patience as this gets fixed".

...and they're selling both the regular version and the SE for different prices. I don't get it. Amazon was one of the companies listed as part of the promotion, so how can they not be complying with it? And if they really are upgrading all regular editions, why bother selling the SE for more since no one'll buy it?

It's just the retailers price gouging. Chris Priestly and the BioWare/EA marketing team have been calling the higher-ups of major retailers, but they can't force anyone to lower their prices. Fernando Melo explains:I'm confused by some of this Signature Edition stuff. I saw Chris' post on the forums about the regular edition being upgraded for free to the SE if I ordered by Jan 11th, so I had a look on amazon.co.uk to see how much it was, as I was thinking of doing so now.

Personally I'd suggest that you go googling for some cheaper options - that could be hard or easy, depending on your location, but it's worth it. A good place to to start without googling anything is this thread. Pages 20- forward should have some recommendations.Just a quick note that legally all we can do is suggest the retail price, including the upgrade to the signature edition - ultimately however, it is up to each retailer to set their own prices, and appears some are taking on the Signature Edition and charging extra for it similar to a collector's edition.
Please shop around and help your fellow community members if you spot good deals.

Back from the brink.
Like RPGs? Like Star Wars? Think combining the two would be fun? Read Darths and Droids, and discover the line "Jar Jar, you're a genius".
These, in the day when heaven was falling,
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling
And took their wages and are dead.

And some pics and shit at IGN (yes, I know, can't spell IGNorant...).
I like how Commander Shepard dresses to blend in with the low-tech world he's visiting!
The Slithering Menace | Rupert the dye merchant | Lion Warrior kit | Werewarrior kit | The Portable Hole | Sarevok's True Power | High Level ABILITIES

Rise to Power Trailer HD Download @ Big Download
Not a particularly interesting trailer. I like the graphics quality updates they've done, but the visual style isn't all that great.
The bonus character will undoubtedly be offered as DLC like Shale was. The price tag will probably be high, say double the price of some random DLC pack.So if we dont get the collectors edition will we never be able to get this bonus char? Or do you think he or she will be offered as DLC like Shale / Kasumi etc were?
Yeah, let me just make you some room here on the 'wagon... *AMS kicks down 1337f@n1!*Eh, well. Preordered. Figures, might as well...
Heh.
I thought she was annoying in Origins... I wonder if they're going with the same voice actor this time?Ha...Thats funny Isabella is going to be a companion and the "easy romance option" like Zevran was...I wonder how many other old faces will see...
Also, Oghren will be the "extremely easy" romance option for the female Hawke. If she turns him down, Oghren will pursue any woman currently in the party.
... Ok, I made up the bit about Oghren. But I can already picture Mike Laidlaw reading this and going, "Hm, that would make a good DLC pack."

No here's to hoping the Hawkes can manage more than a chicken's flight once they take off!
