Good time of the day.

I don't quite know how should feeblemind effect work but I'm pretty sure that at least one part of it works strange in my game. When someone get this status he cannot be chosen, he is inactive like paralyzation status for instance. Also I can rest the whole party but the feebleminded person will remain feebleminded and the last annoying staff is - when I remove feeblemindness with break enchantment spell the status icon stays.

Some time ago I had a bug when I put on a ring of the mastermind which is a curse revision item. And it has feeblemind effect on it. So when I put on this ring my char became unselectible forever. So now I think it's something with this effect.

Could someone please help me to solve this problem or point at the right direction.

Thanks in advance :)

That's Feeblemind for you.

Hmm and what about icon that is not removed? Well if the rest is as it has to be, I'm glad :)

Funny it is. I replayed BG and BG II 2 times before but never was into mages also I soloed pretty much always. And now I'm really experiencing a whole new gameplay. :)

Eh, if Dispel Magic or whatever removes the effect though, shouldn't it remove the icon?

That is a very nasty item - Salk should be ashamed of himself :new_bottom:. Can you remove it at least once you've dispelled the effect?

Yes, that's a deficiency of Remove Curse that should be fixed.

As I recall, the Feeblemind from the item was undispellable and the item made you immune to the Remove Curse spell.

The Ring of the Mastermind is specifically immune to Break Enchantment, both priest and wizard. Yes, I thought this was hilarious, too.

Yeah only one uberspell can remove this item it's called 'load' :D

About cursed items. It's the most userunfriendly mod I've seen, really. Ok no descriptions or whatever but at least it has to be stated that the item in question is cursed. After some nasty stuff with several items, I just opened *.tra files and wrote the list of "avoid at all costs" items. What is the purpose of this I don't know. A really questionable enjoyment if you ask me :)
