Hi, I just finished Innershade in my game (SoA portion anyway) and enjoyed something new. The good news is that I had no problems at all. I did notice a couple of things however.

1) When you discover the child's dead father in the mine and go back to talk to Patric, the text says that all you found was a gold coin & no bodies. This is inconsistant with the fact that the father's body was there.

2) I noticed several typos with the Woman's Temperment quest. When you talk to Eva starting the quest, I think it the PCs dialog option Strongheart is spelled "Stongheart". In the quest journal entry is "eachother". Then when you go to lie to Eva the PC's dialog has "cheerfulfrom".

3) Finally, a number of quest journal entries are not deleted after in quest is finished. I know this happened on the main quest and the Woman's Temperment quest. I can look up which ones exactly if you want.

Otherwise, great job!

Thanks! Will check that. Remember that if you decided to chose the good option in the main quest, then in ToB you will have chance to finishi it.
About entries, it would be nice if you could check that :)

It's nice that someone tried out the mod... I'm still waiting for some feedback and lack of reports, opinions etc made me a bit worried :whistling:

Yes, I am on the good option so will be looking for the ToB portion.

Thanks! Well, maybe people expected something different... I wanted to add a new village that charname may visit, where he may buy something, complete quest connected to the place and maybe investigate something - here it's the "case of the dream" as well as small things like Eva, Strongheart and they... quarell... Talks with Barbara are something that some player may enjoy too... wel... whatever... I'll just wait for some opinions. Some will appear one day :P

I'm trying to make it technically better :) In new version I will probably cut out the animations component, but new animations will be visible is IA is installed :) I usually do not make other changes... It's more possible that you will receive brand new mod than expended mod I already published. I release a mod when I think I told the story I wanted to tell :)

This coud just be me being stupid but...I can't actually get to the village. I have the component in which an ico is added to the world map, but that hasn't happened and I have multiple copies of the map itself. Like I said, it's probably my fault for missing something obvious but I've tried everything I can think of.

Hmm, make sure that you are in chapter 2 (or higher). You may also CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("INNERMAP","GLOBAL",0) and keep the map in invectory - maybe something broke the script. Setting it to 0 will make it fire again. Let me know if it still doesn't work :)
Oh, also if you had the mod installed and then reinstalled it with different map component it could have made the bug.

Marla,

You might want to also check your WeiDU.log and make sure you didn't accidently say no to the last component of the mod when it asks about adding Innershade to the worldmap. If you said no, then that is obviously the problem.

I hope you will enjoy the new village. The quest isn't really big, but I think it suits the oryginal game and the characters you will meet are quite enjoyable too :P Well, that's something rather to be said by player, not me... however... have fun! :cheers:

i may not be seeing something but ive done every quest in innershade exept for the boy with the coin and his dad but he fell down the well i keep going in to the mins and nothing quest wise happens

I'm not sure if I understand. What is the problem? If boy fell down into the well, it means you were to harsh for him and that's "negative end of the quest". Do you have any problem with main quest? If Patric asked you to check the mine for the first time and you visited it then go back and tell him that you didn't find a single thing. Then he will advice you to stay in the mine for a night. Go there and rest in it.

Yes, you can reach the locations without map component :) Well, if that wasn't possible, I wouldn't add the possibility :P in TotDG you may not even realize that something is lacking, and with Innershade you will have to go to City Gates and tell one man that you want to go to the village - that's all!
BTW, did you start at least one game before installation of the mod? The mod tries to update the savegames and if there isn't even a single savegame, the error appears.

Thanks for the response :) I figured that was the case.. so is it safe to go back and add both TotDG and Innershade without a fresh install?
Yes, I created a game and did a quick save with BG1TotSC, BG2 & ToB before starting with the mods. I tried pretty much everything my non-modder mind could think of for a solution, including re-installing fresh a few times trying without certain mods and in different orders.
