???Not just the player proffs, but with the enemy AI...oh...dang, gonna have problems with the BG proficiencies eh? ok...Erhm, I wouldn't recommend that, because it's as buggy as hell...also:
%IFES%BG2_Tweaks%S%BG2_Tweaks%L%0%SK% 1180 2040 2050 2090 2161 2192 --logapp | %M%
added 2161 because i want the old style weapon proficiencies

here's a screen shot of the thing where it wants me to hit enter...this is the first of, at a guess, several thousand times (I just held enter down before...)

does that work?

The WeiDU.exe in your main directory is an old version, so it's not recognizing the commands it's being given. Try replacing it with the WeiDU.exe from this archive.here's a screen shot of the thing where it wants me to hit enter...this is the first of, at a guess, several thousand times (I just held enter down before...)

i unzipped that file and copied the contents into my BGII - SoA folder, but thats just a folder called WEIDU...the stuff that BWP needs to access is inside of it...so i copied all that into BGII_SoA and now trying it again

That wouldn't interfere with these components. They take the existing BG2 proficiency groups (Long Sword, Crossbow, etc.) and convert them into BG1-style proficiency groups (Large Sword, Missile Weapons). You could as easily convert them into whatever proficiency groups you liked (Bladed Weapons, Two-Handed Weapons) and it would be the same system underneath.Goes off topic...
What's your question? The "detectable spells" uses the old proficiencies to flag the spells effecting the target...???Not just the player proffs, but with the enemy AI...
Bottom line, the BG1-style proficiencies in the Tweak Pack work fine.

Yes, the code has been corrected in the BG2 Tweak Pack... but you could state so in the question, not just put three marks on it...Bottom line, the BG1-style proficiencies in the Tweak Pack work fine.
Back to the original topic...
Now that that's correct,
