Hi folks,
Hope you might be able to lend a hand. I've spent the last day or so downloading, extracting and installing the BigWorld package for Baldur's Gate, as kindly posted by billyblaze on reddit, and I've been getting madly excited about it. Sadly I can't get it to run, I hope someone can give me a few ideas on how to proceed.
Long story short, having completed the install, I launch TobExLoader.exe . This opens a DOS window with the text TobEx: Throne of Bhaal Extender <date and time etc>.
It hangs here, and if left eventually generates a windows/bg2 error AppName: bgmain.exe AppVer: 2.5.0.2 ModName: bgmain.exe ModVer: 2.5.0.2 Offset: 0059f056
I've installed a hell of a lot of mods on other games, such as Fallout 3, but as far as this goes I'm completely clueless- I'd appreciate any advice on what to try, let me know if I need to post any logs etc.

Also, I tried going in through the main exe, game starts to load up and then returns An assertion failed at chsound.cpp in line number 4905

Hey man, I am having a very similar problem (sans the error window), and can't find any way to fix it on the forums. How did you fix yours?
