something wrong with XAN

I have a BWP 9.1.2 tactics installation. I found Xan and after battle when I found his Moonbalde ...bad surprise is red, Xan couldn't use (same with Rhialto's Spellbook - I use this with Xan in BWP 8.0 tactics). Please help with a solution, something using ShadowKeeper or other tool like this because I don't want to make another installations of BWP. :blink:

Xan is not more Wild Mage instead now is Sorcerer <_< ...if I try in ShadowKeeper to change in mage and wild-mage kit ... Xan remain just plain mage ... I don't now how to force Xan to became wild mage. Something is wrong with wild-mage kit in BWP 9.1.2? I ask because seems to be impossible to make such a character (I made one and after one night sleep became a simple mage)

If I use CLUAConsole:CreateItem("O#XanMB") a new moonblade appear and this new one is ok for Xan

OK I don't want to hijack again Fennek tread (maybe is not a bug, I don't really know) but I have a BWP Tactics 9.4.3 and this wild-mage problem is still there.

Xan is not wild-mage (and his moonblade from Nashkel mines is unusable from him), if you want to start a new game using wild mage kit is impossible ... after new game started your NPC became just mage not wild-mage and this make Rihaldo mod usseles because in this situation nobody can use his book (specifically made from wild mage characters).

You are not the first one who has this problem. The question is, which mods do affect Xan? Can you get him into your party, have a look what his .cre-name is and then prepare a changelog on his .cre. You can find informations concerning this in the BWP-FaQ-Thread, heere in the Mega Mod Help section. Then we can try to get rid of the problem.

If you used the Refinements mod, you'll have issues with it...

Yes, it's not BWP-FaQ, but Megamod-FaQ... :whistling: I guess Danemanuek nevertheless understood it, there's not much choice in this section of the forum. Regarding ShadowKeeper: If you start it and open the .cres, search for "Xan" and figure out the file name for a changelog. It nevertheless has to be the proper Xan, so if you can figure out which Xan you have in your party, it makes the whole thing much easier.

Not sure what causes this, but it's probably fixable by installing the "Xan" component of Level 1 NPCs, which should allow him to use his moonblade regardless of which class you make him (even if you keep him as whatever he is already).
