Version 4.1 of all 3 mods released!

The Fixpack has by far the most updates in this release, but UB does have updated music files for the Smoldering Corpse and Morte's Themes (they were playing too slowly, also, the files are much smaller now which may help if you had trouble downloading before). And all 3 mods have updated Italian and new Russian translations.
As I've said in forum posts, this is my first release without a full test run through, so do let me know quickly if you encounter any problems or bugs and I'll get them fixed within a day or two at most. Most of the fixes were at least spot checked, just didn't do a full test run from beginning to end as I usually do.
Hope you'll all enjoy

I recently started a fresh game though only just arrived at smoldering corpse after becoming a mage but I'd rather not reinstall/reply. Do you think updating the 3 components would hurt my savegame? If not, would I simply run the new setup .exe's from folder?

I and my girlfriend will soon start a new game using your latest releases!
P.S. I'd ask you another advice (by the way, raising the FPS from 30 to 35 was a very good compromise for me): I have always hated respawns with a vengeance and unfortunately PT makes use of this game device so I ask you: would it be possible to disable them? And if yes, would it have a big impact in the game? Would it be just a matter of fewer XP to gain or could it be gamebreaking? Thanks!

Salk: I really can't think of anywhere that can't be *cleared* except Undersigil, and that area is entirely optional. What area has respawns that you're concerned with?
Everyone: Thanks for the kind words

You can avoid most of the respawns by quickly leaving the area or using your thief to slip by. Also the majority of xp is gained by finishing quests and through dialog options, so no, you don't have to kill everything in your path, or try to grind in any way.P.S. Copied [VAR.TMP] to [VAR.VAR]
Copying and patching 1 file ...

Game version identified as 2CD v1.1. Proceeding with installation.

ERROR: [Torment.exe] -> [Torment.exe] Patching Failed (COPY) (Failure("No pattern for 1a. Restoring \"Copied Spell\" voiced lines. found."))

Stopping installation because of error.
I looked at pattern 1a (sound.tph) and it looks fine. I used search pattern in exe and found code location which needed to be patched without problem. Any ideas?
edit:
I double checked search/replace patterns used and they match up with ones in my notes so that isn't problem.

// injecting code into adding spell to spellbook, removing default sound of GAM_44 (not working in vanilla) replacing with clip based on PC id (NAM126, IGN206, DAK151)
edit: Changing it to say 0x220A00 sorts problem. Also, you might include note regarding restored sound to UB readme when you update tph.
For those interested, there are a number of ambient sounds part of IE (hardcoded into engine) which PST attempts to use. The problem is this audio set is carry over from BG1. If you look at sound files, you'll see that GAM_44 is sound effect for BG1 but doesn't exist in PST. So, for TNO, Ignus and Dak when you copy a spell you'll now hear some of unused sound files.
I started work on some of other sound sets like locked containers (NAM103, MRT371, ANA485D, DAK132, FFG166, NOR126, IGN177, VHA121) but I need to work out a problem which prevents audio clips from overlapping.

I fixed the problem, if someone with 2CD version can verify the UB download installs properly now, would appreciate.

Here is the last version of Russian translation. Please update it.
And still some questions you did not answered in other themes...
1) about the bug with the Doll of the Lady of Pain.
2) about the bug on the map, where there is no text "The Pillar of Skulls".
Did you see that questions? If no, please tell me where I sould describe them detailed...

Well, it's more like a general dislike of respawning as game concept. I am not concerned with any area in particular, but I played the initial part of the game several years ago (before you worked on your excellent Fixpack) and I seem to remember that thugs in the Hive would respawn, for example. At least, if my memory does not fail me.
P.S. I take the opportunity to thank wholeheartedly scient for his marvellous job on the game engine! Thanks!

Sorry Refiler, I did see the issues you raised, and I will address them in the next release, whenever that happens to be.

PS: This small german translation change was overseen at qtweak.tra, @21:
It should be "~"Frueher Glabrezu"-Anpassung~" (no umlaut, because they do not work properly in the Weidu installation dialogues).

This'll be the first time I've experienced the removal of minimum stats. My MixMaxer's soul is in heaven at the very thought. TNO may be muscular-looking, but it won't stop him from having the strength of an infant!

This warning may come a bit to late for you -- though maybe not if you are having installation woes, but a TNO who cannot carry anything is no fun to play. And a TNO who is too weak to carry the treasures from his own tomb would be frustrating to play. So maybe 'small child' is better than 'infant'.

Yeah, I didn't think of the Tomb. I planned to do serious levelling (Cloudkill + Undersigil = everlasting fun) which would let me pump some stats, but I'll be visiting the tomb before that. Might get around it with a Strength spell, then again might just pump some points into str. We'll see. Thanks!

We're in the Mausoleum. Strahan casts horror. Dak'kon suffers a morale failure. He says: "By your actions, I know your heart. You must die." which strikes me as a silly thing to say while panicking, though a fine thing to say before he decides to attack TNO.
I have a save from just before entering Strahan's chamber, and he is pretty good as casting the horror, should that be useful.
