Ive been a huge fan of BG series for a long time, ive beaten the games many times and was about to start up again when i stummbled across all the mods I didnt know existed. Now Im trying to find BGT to download and play it all through in one shot, but i cant find it anywhere. Would someone be able to provide a link to where i can DL?

Alrighty, I DL'd it, but i got an error when I attempted to run the program.
'to open this file windows needs to know what program you wish to use...'
Is there something else I must DL first (aside from the games)?

You need a program that is able to extract a .rar archive, like the free WinRAR.

thanks for the help, one more question though (hopfully the last one) While adding the mod, the instructions state
"
1. Extract BGT108-Install.rar to your BGII install directory
...
4. Run Setup-BGT.exe in your BGII install directory
"
I cant find an install folder in my BGII, and when i try to run the program just in the BGII folder itself it dosnt work. what folder do i need to run this in?

The BGT108-Install.rar archive consists on a folder called "BGT", the installer called "Setup-BGT.exe" and a file called "Setup-BGT.tp2", you'll extract all of them strait into the game folder, and then start the "Setup-BGT.exe".

The "BG2 install folder" is the game folder where the dialog.tlk is and the override and data folders are... you installed the game there. And by the way, the game folder should be "BGII - SoA", not "BGII"...

So close lol, feel dumb for having to ask, as i feel like its stuff i should know, but... windows vista when typing the appropriate path to installation, will it be C:\...\Black Isle\BGII - SoA or do i need one more bit of info at the end of that?

windows vista

Erhm, install the BG2 game into the C:\Games\BGII - SoA :folder, not into the Program Files -sub-folder. It's because the Windows Vista and W7 protect that particular folder with extra security that actually mirrors the files from another directory so your changes will not take effect if you don't launch the game under a compatibility mode.

Or whatever you call the plural of 'game' as. Spel, Spiel, Peli, Giono...

when typing the appropriate path to installation, will it be C:\...\Black Isle\BGII - SoA or do i need one more bit of info at the end of that?

When the installer asks the folder, you need to type in the BG1 folder... it should be in C:\Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur's Gate ... by default, where it can be as you won't be changing anything in there.
