I know I'm not the guy to answer this , but I guess the only real bug you'll notice will be this - some druid spells might still be present for clerics (the fix for it got added in the latest SR hotfixes ... which weren't there in the BWPFixpack 9.1.0)
All the other stuff is just unnecessary code removed since the fixes got incorporated into the updated mods themselves (and if you have the non-updated mods, you'll have the fixes since the BWPFixpack had them ) ...
In short, nothing to worry other than some extra spells in cleric spellbooks

Also if anyone has any advice on how to beat this demon this time...would Detect Invisibility work when he steps into the Ethereal plane to regenerate?

The "problem" might be linked with the aTweaks' demons.

Thanks for the link, that helped a lot. Now I'm not sure if this is a nasty bug or not. I finally managed to defeat the demon and I'm trying to leave the town. For some reason, my game just started doing this. It is constantly scrolling all the way to right and I'm not doing anything at all. My mouse is working properly and works in other apps, but this is only happening in my BG and BGII game. I even tried to start a new game and the same thing is happening. What can cause the screen to keep moving constantly to the right?
It looks like rebooting the computer fixed what ever it was. That was weird.

There are two mods: B!Tweaks and B!Tweaks lite. I've extracted them both manually and BWP said that it's ok.The extraction of the following mod(s) failed:
B!Tweaks v4: The Mod itself (b!tweak_lite-v4.exe)
-> I do manual instal sucessfully

That's really nasty. I've found similar demons in planar sphere and have not found better solution to kill them rather than cast three "lower resistance's" and two "desintegrations". Every time i try to beat them in melee, they keep fleeing to ethereal plane, true sight, oracle, detect invisibility don't help at all.

When fighting the Nabassu at the end of TotSC, the demon uses his gaze attack to turn my character into a zombie. Before, I used to be able to dispel the effects with Arrows of Dispelling. Now I am unable to do that. How to you get rid of that effect now?
This is not a bug, it's intended behavior. To cure the effects of a Nabassu's Death Daze, you have to either cast Remove Curse on the afflicted character or slay the Nabassu before the curse finishes its course (5 rounds). See here for more details.
Also if anyone has any advice on how to beat this demon this time...would Detect Invisibility work when he steps into the Ethereal plane to regenerate?
Casting Detect Invisibility will reveal the location of the Fiend, but it won't make it susceptible to the party's attacks. See here for more details on how Etherealness works.

1) Would it be a problem having windows 7? Are these windows compatible with BG and BWP? Will they cause any installation/in game problems?
2) I'm having a more specific question (and the most important) : would 64-bit windows be a wise choice? (in terms of compatibillity, where I'm most worried about if they play all programs made for 32-bit windows)
I'm thinking to try 64-bit windows 7 because only them support RAM bigger than 4GB (the limit for 32-bit windows)
I would prefer a very powerful machine (with even 16 GB RAM) as it will be of use for many years and I really need big RAM as I'm working on some very RAM-consuming programs for music production (where my current 2GB RAM XP system is on it's limits when I run only few features of them) Also, if it's ok in terms of compatibility with BWS, such a power would limit any in game lags
3) Now about graphic card: Hope there's no problem with any new 1GB+ graphic cards and BG. Am I free to choose then?
Sorry if that questions are too technical but I wouldn't like to buy a PC and see that I can't play BG/BWP on it! lol
And I think your experience might be of great help when time comes for me to choose my pc. Thank you in advance!

1. Do you have an antivirus running during installation (such as Avast)? If so, disable it.During my last BWP install two mods failed: Vecna and generalized biffing. (Infinity Animations also popped an error: "ERROR: error copying [infinityanimations/content/Caa.2da]", nevertheless it finished installing successfully.)
2. Is your OS in a non-Western language (Russian, Japanese etc.)? If so, you need to change your codepage as specified in the readme.
Not sure why he's using GeN1e's prefix for his files, but clearly it's missing a translation you should report in the Vecna thread. Btw, that mod is pre-beta (maybe pre-alpha) so I don't think the BWP should be including it quite yet.Vecna error log:
ERROR: No translation provided for @5
[vecna/Dia/AGCRE01.d] ERROR at line 14 column 1-5
Near Text: @5
Not_found
ERROR: parsing [vecna/Dia/AGCRE01.d]: Not_found
ERROR: compiling [vecna/Dia/AGCRE01.d]!
Stopping installation because of error.
I'd like to repeat that issues with specific mods should be reported in their specific threads or forums, because most modders don't read this monster thread to find issues with their mods.

i've got win7

well, i've got win7 x64
3) Now about graphic card: Hope there's no problem with any new 1GB+ graphic cards and BG. Am I free to choose then?
my GeForce GTS250 DarkKnight 1GB seems to crash with hardware acceleration ~every hour. if i turn hardware acceleration off, the game runs a bit slower, but no random crashes due to graphics.
as you see, i'm playing quite successfully current BWP without any hardware/operation system issues.

My advice to Silinde Ar-Feiniel is, read MY FAQ, and know... specially the answers 1, 2, and 3. And don't install the game to anywhere near the Program Files -sub-folders.
And any BG2 related graphic card related issue should be solvable with this:
BG2(SoA+ToB, including Tutu, Classic Adventures, and Big Mods): there are various graphical issues (black boxes and/or randomly-colored lines across the screen), which are solved with the following tweaks in BGConfig: Hardware -> Enable 3D Acceleration. Display -> 32 bit. 2d & 3d options: enable 3D Animations, 3D Acceleration and 32 bit textures, disable the Disable Vertex Padding option.

Thank you, thank you ,thank u! That's all I wanted to hear. My great concern was the compatibility with win 7 64bit. Now that I know it's ok, I'll handle the rest with Jarno's FAQ help. Yey!
@Jarno
Thank you too! Your help is always precious! About the graphic card, it's only a BG configuration theme, or should I search for a card that supports both 64 and 32-bit display? Sorry if I'm so noob about it... Btw, it's very useful the info the Bigg gave us. *have to copy it somewhere in order not to lose it*

That's kinda low You'll need 7 GB for a Tactics install ... and methinks 5 GB for a standard ... Experts go some 9 GB@dabus: before starting biffing I have 3,3 GB of disk space, could this be less than needed?

My "BGII - SoA" is ~40Gb with "standard" install. So think carefully about free space.
@Silinde Ar-Feiniel
should I search for a card that supports both 64 and 32-bit display?
Dude, there are no 32/64 bit graphics cards. There are 32/64-bit proccessors, and the value means how long the internal processor registers are. For example you are not able to use 64-bit memory pointers on 32-bit architecture processor. there is a 16/32 bit color in BGConfig - it's absolutely another option - it's about how many bits define pixel color on the screen. generally 16-bit is used without hardware acceleration at all, all nowadays graphics cards and displays use 32-bit color, called "true color". but if you encounter hardware glitches, you may wish to calculate all graphics on your CPU(it means without hardware acceleration) and use 16-bit color to speed it up.
@Jarno Mikkola
> And any BG2 related graphic card related issue should be solvable with this:
Just so you know: not all. As i said before every time i turn hardware acceleration on, the game crashes ~every hour. If i turn the acceleration off, some glitches appear like bugged fog of war and spells. If i turn "software blt" on, glitches disappear(well, most of them), the game looks ok, but during intense battles it runs a little slow(about 10fps instead of 30). I've discovered an easy way to speed it up ~1.5-2x times: in "process explorer" set BGMain.exe process affinity to use both processor cores. But! It's not as flawless as it seems to be. When running on both cores, BGMain crashes every ~4 hours of gameplay, all of a sudden, randomly without a notice in baldur.err.
So:
If game runs ok with hardware acceleration, you definitely should use it. If it crashes randomly, you may wish to turn the acceleration off. If it runs too slow without acceleration, set proper process affinity, but it may crash sometimes with it.
