After spending all day trying to get BGT working, I've come to grips after searching through Wine logs and other associated venues, that BGT is not compatible with Crossover Games which runs off of a version of Wine. It seems to be an issue with Wine's ability to process .bat files, and somewhat large reliance on functions in those .bat files which it is incapable of processing. In the end, BGT was never able to access my BG1 installation, despite much research and a lot of double-checking. If someone here can show me to be wrong, please do, as I would love nothing more than to get it up and running now. My Weidu log was no different than some others have posted which were unable to find the BG1 installation. I tried setting the path specifically in the presetup.bat, but nothing seemed to have worked. Again, please let me know if there's more I can do. In the meantime, whenever I manage to get my hands on a PC again, I'll give it a try.
