Why some mods colored in green (recommended) are not selected? Like TOB hacks v0.5.1. In regular BWS(not the beta version) this mod is selected. I also noticed other differences. I presume mod selection in BWS beta is more up to date or am I wrong?

There should be no difference between the result using the BiG World Install.bat and the BWS beta if you use the defaults.

The mod itself still is "ok", so it's green. Since the beta solves conflicts and you should use only one solution that fixes some problem, ToBEx and Hacks have conflicts (in the BWS). ToBEx is preferred to ToB Hacks, so those get unchecked. If you want to use Hacks, leave out TobEx.
If you look at the BWP batch-installer, you see that it behaves the same.
THINK! - It's not illegal.

The following originally selected mods could not be installed:

Mod: Infinity Animations Core (WeiDU-Beta) v5
Component: Svirfneblin Animations -> Animations and sounds

This is automatically skipped if you installed Aurora's Shoes, as it was already provided by that mod. I suppose this should be noted somewhere else in the BWP/BWS (it is on screen and in the mod readme, but I suppose most BWP players don't look at either).

Edit:

I've heard that some guys had no kit-problems with 2.23 but with 2.24. So for the fun of it you could try to use WeiDU 2.23...

It's actually 223.00 and 224.00, unless it's a beta version, which are e.g. 223.01 or 223.03.

Thanks I look at the code and try to fix it.

It sounds like a WeiDU bug (that has been reported but ignored so far) so tough to fix unless you know OCaml. Maybe Wisp has some idea.

This bug may not be that serious. It seems like it may only happen if the kit's already been installed by another mod. If so, the only time it would be a problem is if the component installs more than one kit, or does something else, in addition to installing the kit.

During the patching proces in installation I'v got windows error mess 'no cd in the drive'. I pressed continue button for several times and installation continued normaly without errors. I'v done all the preparing steps correct and of course I removed cd from the drive. But again installation is without errors untill now (except two errors with 'bg enhaced' kits but I skipped them) so just reporting because this is the first time I run into this.

By the way I really must thank you and congratulate you for this program. It's so powerful and more user friendy than the older version. And possibility to stop installation and continue it later is ingenious.

My installation is now almost complete, but during the DEFJAM installation I got dozen lines of this:

ERROR: cannot convert %MATCH2% or %%MATCH2%% to an integer

but later I got message that component was installed successfully. Is this supposed to be like this? Installation was not interrupted.

Can you, please look at the debug file and tell me what went wrong.

I ran into the same issue as before regarding "patch.exe" DOS popup windows even while using the beta. I most definitely had my UAC, Firewall, Internet connection, and Antivirus turned off, so I'm guessing that Vista simply hates those processes altogether.

Unfortunately, unlike the command-line run of BiG World Install.bat, the BWS beta somehow did not like it when a patch.exe dos window popped up during the real installation. After I closed it, it like usual prompted (y/n) for canceling current batch execution. When I sent "y" via the console input, it stopped but never let me exit the program normally. I had to end process to kill it. I'm not sure if this is a bug.

Immediately afterwards, I simply ran an installation by running BiG World Install.bat from an administrator cmd window. It ran smoothly thereafter, but now it keeps asking me to insert a CD. Is there any way I can get it to work with a NoCD crack? Or will it ruin the BGMain.exe in the process?

SKIPPING: [Description Updates for Universal Clubs Component]
This component is not available in your language.

SKIPPING: [Animations and sounds]
Aurora's Shoes has already installed this.

Innershade does not get installed since I kept an old dependency for the main component that cannot be fulfilled and thus the mod is not installed at all. So my that's my fault. The other skips are displayed since I did not include the conflicts / dependencies yet (don't know them all). The only error is that 3 kits are missing. So nothing serious that would make your installation unplayable.

Ok, thank you. Just two more questions (btw thank you for finding the time and patiance to replay :)). Why I can't pick BGT GUI components anymore? I guess because it is incorporated in BGT. Does this means I can't change it? (it's not that important but I realy like E wielding a staff GUI). About the animations and graphics from IWD. Is this purely optional and for visual purposes? I know they are recommended but I find them not to my liking and preffere vanilla animations. So can I remove them without worries?

Well, it's mostly about the setting the new animations to a new defaults, but there is(or was) a few hidden adjustments, but they were supposed to be very minor once.
So you can remove them without worries.

Does anyone know why some of the mods have not been installed (see my previous post above) ?

Also, is a subrace planned for BWP ? It could be included as an expert mod. What do you think?

My last installation went fine. Can I now remove mods or components that dont have dependecies by manualy runing setup of the mods? Can I change the GUI and music without messing up the installation?

Uhm, uninstalling components is an idea that may be not so good if the component is more at the beginning of the installation, since all stuff that's been installed since then will be uninstalled, then the component you want to uninstall and then the installation of the pending stuff is done again.

The more there is, the greater is the chance of a really time-consuming action or even a failure.
Keep in mind that you may not be able to use saves you created with that build any more. If the component contained text, which most tend to do, you can throw them away since the pointers to text-strings that are saved in your game are showing to false places and thus are messed up (cities name are a part of a banter and so on).

You should be able to change the GUI without a problem.
THINK! - It's not illegal.

Funny, I'm getting the same error. I just came online to post the same trace as this. It also happens to me after the automatic extraction of NSIS installers and just before the start of the actual installation process. I've no clue what's causing it. I did notice that BWS did an auto-update earlier this evening (with an updated dependency table and modlist), so it might have something to do with that.
