Hi; I've been getting crashes when using the bpseries scripts. It happens whenever a character is weilding a ranged weapon and has BPFT-CL, BPMulti or BPRanged active. I tried uninstalling gMinion through Weidu, but the crash still occurs.
Any advice on how I might get the bpseries to work?

I get it as well. So I did some looking around and there are a few lines in the BPseries changelog that might be of interest:
If I knew how to fix it myself, I certainly would. But unfortunately, I do not. Wonder if anyone around here knows how. I don't know if simply opening the file in question and changing it from an innate into a cleric spell and dropping it into the override would do it, much less if it would screw anything else up.
G) Spotted an issue with an outside mod and these scripts,
causing an immediate CTD. Offending file in the mod celestials by g3:
"SPCL923, summon deva, is an innate level 7 and thus causes crashes
for the same reason half of the HLA's in ToB did in Bioware's release
(when scripted). Look in celestials/stuff folder for details"
As I can't fix their mod, either wait for BWP crew to catch up,
or change it yourself, or avoid Celestials until it is addressed.

Try this. Seems to have worked for me. If it does something funky later on, you can just remove it from the override and refrain from using the BP scripts until they get an earnest fix for it.

anyone find a fix for this? This fixes the script if they don't use range weapon, but as soon as I equip a ranged weapon or they try to switch to one in combat, it crashes, only with the three scripts mentioned above.
Any more ideas? I want to use my mage/cleric with ranged weapons!

Did you install BP component 0 (AI). Did you install BP Series without errors or warnings? (have a look on your BP Series.debug, please).

I did the all the recommended bwp 9.0 install and changed nothing except not installing SCS as it advised only installing one, so I just installed BP (because I wanted to use the BP series.
No errors in debug, all looks normal. I have the exact same problem as the first poster describes. Something with ranged weapon use and these 3 scrips causing crash. All other BP series scripts (or these three with only melee use) work fine.

Ok, think I fixed it, and will post it here for anyone else who has the problem. After some testing, I found only the bpmulti script was crashing, which lead me to think the fixed summon deva file above fixed the priest scripts, so there must have been some spell/ability in the mage or general side of things that was innate and set to level other than one.
And I found..
A!SOULKN.SPL
From soulknife kit, was scripted in bpmulti, but is an innate and spell level was at 5. So I reset spell level to 1 with near infinity, dropped it in override, and tada, BPMULTI is now working fine and fun with my bwp cleric/mage.
Hope this helps someone else who wants to use these ai scripts.

Please make sure to post the issue and resolution in the mod's forums that makes the spell A!SOULKN.SPL so that it is fixed from the root of the problem and not relying on an AI script mod to fix it for them.
