Hi,

I've been trying to install BWP but it keeps stalling once the actual install starts (about 20mins in). I started with clean BG and BG2 installs. I also disabled UAC and PCA (I'm running Windows 7). Up to the point it stalls, everything seems to have installed okay.

I've attached my WeiDu log and a zipped Big World Debug log.

Delete the two files and copy the WeiDU.exe and then rename the copies as Setup-Assassinations.exe and Setup-deArnise.exe...
Yes, you'll need to edit the previously installed mods out of the 'BiG World Install.bat' with Notepad and then restart it... or you can restart the 'BiG World Setup.vbs' and do a re-setup which removes the already installed mods, and re-extracts them again and after it it will start the 'BiG World Install.bat' at which point you can exit it with the X and run any of the setup-*.exe to update the WeiDU.exe's, and if it fails like it does in yours, you can manually do the update and then start the 'BiG World Install.bat' without the need to edit it.

All fixed!

I followed the second part of your fix (I took one look at the BAT file and to be honest I don't know where to start editing that). Anyway, reinstalled everything (and updating the SETUP's) and everything went smoothly. As I type this, I have a (temporary) character standing outside Candlekeep Inn!

Loved the Candlekeep-Be-Gone bit. I lol'd when a Watcher approached and offered to take me straight to Gorion. Wasn't expecting that. I've no idea which mod added it though. Hope there will be more surprises like that.
