Hi Guys
I'm having a problem with my BGII ToB game. I don't have BGT or BP installed. I'll attach my Weidu in the end of post.
As the description says, my game crashes when I try to enter the Prison on the basement level of the mayor's house in Trademeet. This happens whether I try to enter regularly or use the CLUAConsole's MoveTo command. I can see the area, and hear the sound of a door opening, then crash. Does anyone know what to do/ what I should be looking for to fix it? I.e. is it something that's wrong with dialogue.tk or is it the area file in my override folder? Im just asking out of curiousity, I'm too much of a noob to fix it myself :-) (I noticed though, that the area "AR2009", the prison, isn't even in the override folder).
Thanks

Did you start a new game after installing Aurora? If not, it could well be the same problem as here. If you did, then it's probably something else. But anyway, make sure you have Logging On=1 in your baldur.ini file as specified here and try reproducing the crash. If you don't get a message in your baldur.err file, then at least try to get a screenshot of the pop-up window after the crash.

Thank you Miloch. No, I didn't start a new game, and sure thing, uninstalling Aurora stopped the problem :-) Is there a way of "updating" the save game areas in a file to fit Aurora, so a new game isn't necessary? Thank you anyways, feel sort of dimwitted now.

I began experiencing another problem though that I'm am not sure is related. Game seemed to randomly crash in all sorts of areas, where a simple reload would allow me to proceed. I have no idea why, and haven't checked to see if uninstalling Aurora/ creating a new game with Aurora fixed it.

Unfortunately, no, not really. I think maybe SConrad has some save-game-changing code I could look at, but it's pretty intensive, and so is Aurora. It makes a lot of changes to animations, so you really have to start a new game. You meet Aurora right after you get out of the dungeon, so that's probably best anyway.
