So I was looking through the spell progression tables and noticed that at a certain point in time it can just so happen that you run out of GUI space for your spell slots(12 max). For a priest of 18 WIS that happens at lvl 34 when he gets 13 slots for levels 1&2.
Suppose you actually arrive to that point through whatever combination of levels, wisdom and items - is there a way to access that slot anyhow?
The ToB scrollable spellbook hack seems to do this only for the learned spells so far. I tested it and found out that the slot works for all intents and purposes, its just that once you place a spell in it, you cannot really remove it by any method I am aware of as yet...

IIRC, the unmodded game caps spell gain at lv. 20, so this would be an oversight in a mod that extends the spell tables. Since the game isn't made for it, I'd guess that the only real way to deal with it would be another hack that makes that section scrollable.

Another? I'm pretty sure scrollable spellbook hack was already made, though I can't tell for sure if I've seen this info here or at PPG.

Who plays unmodded these days anyway? I can't think of even one reason to do it. At least the fixes are a must.
Anyway. By some means I do have extended spell tables(BWP, cap remover or whatever, I have no idea) and since someone put the possibility there I naturally assumed, there is also a way to access it and I just haven't found it yet.
So if no such way exists - does the hack that supplies it exist then? Or is there the prospect of it coming into existence?

The OP states that it only affects known spells.

This doesn't change the fact that you're doing something the game wasn't designed to do.

You could just un-memorize whatever spells you have visible until you get to the ones you want. Clunky and annoying, certainly, but workable... I guess.

So if no such way exists - does the hack that supplies it exist then? Or is there the prospect of it coming into existence?

Both seem unlikely. You could try talking to one of the three people or so who do that kind of modifications.

I see... well that's quite a few things cleared up then.
Though I had forgotten that un-memorizing a spell rearranges them, which while not the best of solutions with proper planning is "workable" enough as you said. Not that I'm anywhere near such a point where this. A pity. Oh well, all things in due time.
