Missing Qest from Darkest Day (via BWP)

According to Darkest Day Walkthrough it should start:
"Shar-Teel (Found in Prison in Govt. District)
Quest 1) She is annoyed that some female tribeswoman has killed one of her tribe and is seeking retribution. Go to the northern end of the slum (x1640 y520) and speak to the half- Quallian warrior. A fight ensues resulting in their death. After the fight it transpires that the woman killed was Shar-Teel's sister. Make sure you choose conversation option 2 (otherwise she will turn hostile) Loot their bodies for very minor treasure."
Been all over the slums and cannot find this person. I am concerned that she is going to leave my party if I don't get her quest done.
Any thoughts? Is this a TDD bug or a BWP bug or am I just missing something?

They say the world is going to Hell.
They are wrong.
The world IS Hell! Always has been, always will be; except perhaps for the five percent or so of the population who can afford differently.
And, if one must reside in Hell, it is far better to do it as a minion of the Devil than as a member of the damned.

Have Big World Project installed with Darkest Day - it is running okay but Shar-teel's quest seems bugged.

This is the incompatibility with TDD and BGT. If TDD is installed before BGT, then it only works if Shar-Teel is continuous (via imported from the point of dialog with Duke Belt). If it is the opposite way around in installation only the TDD character will work. Same goes for the other TDD NPC's that are returning ones form BG1.
I am currently trying to work out something that will allow the player to have it work for both ways.
The quick way to do it is change the Shar-Teel in your party to have the death variable of SHARTEEL and not SHARTEDD. This can be doen with Near Infinity by editing the save but maybe not so with a Shadowkeeper editor.
If you want to edit scripts then you can open your AR0400.BCS and SHARFIT1.BCS and look for SHARTEEL as a creature name with actions and triggers. Then change those instances to SHARTEDD in both scripts and reload your save. I bet you it will work then if you do one of the two editing processes I mentioned.
Unfortunately there is no quick CLUA alternative to just create the creatures as the dialogs and actions still won't fire.

What if we summon the 'real' Sharteel? , yes, it won't be the continuous, but it's better than say none.Unfortunately there is no quick CLUA alternative to just create the creatures as the dialogs and actions still won't fire.

As far as what got installed when, I couldn't tell ya - I used Big World Installer and it said that it would do all the downloads and install them in the right order, so I just let it go.
Thanks I will see if it works

Yeah it is TDD before BGT as that is how BWP installs it. I know it is the death variable thing, that is why the warriors are not at the designated spot. You can edit your SHART13 character to have the SHARTEDD death variable before you have entered the prison and picked her up. Another possible bug fix.

That works too although she won't have her TDD kit.
