Not exactly "naked" but the robes won't colour the major part of the avatar/paperdoll, as they should. This is an Adventurer's Robe, which should have 3 colours (gold robe, blue amulet and red straps), but in fact only takes the latter, and on the feet, rather oddly (hmm if we could figure out how to use that in general, would make a cool effect for Aurora's Boots).mages avatars still *naked* while wearing robes. only their belt and shoes colors change while wearing different robes
This is also true, even copying the thief2 animation series to 3 and 4 doesn't help, but I really didn't think it would, because it happens with unarmoured thieves. Ordinarily, this indicates a weapon-related issue as Jarno said, but it happens with unarmed thieves also.So I think that problem somehow resides in Thief animation (all working PCs use cleric, figher and mage avatars, even multi Fighter(Cleric)/Thiefs). Installing BG1 animations for NPC (1st option - 25%) also crush game upon starting new game(I think because of Imoen's thief avatar in Candlekeep).
I'll try to see if Erephine is still alive to look at this. For now, all I can do is comment out the part of the code that messes with thieves, so replace the files in your infinityanimations/lib folder with these and reinstall the BG1 Animation components.

Edit: just noticed this, and maybe it's just me, but is that staff actually *out* of the mage's hand?
