[Shane]

I decided to start a new game in BG2 without importing a save. For some reason I get the first scene with the guard but Imoen doesn't appear to spring me out. Leaving me trapped in the cell without any interaction (no mouse click, menu or anything) I'm not sure what is wrong but if it will help here's the list of the mods I have installed.

One more thing. For some reason the expansion for BG2 works just fine O_o Just that one scene ends up hanging (for some reason my character starts off on the ground despite not being tortured yet) and then I get the no interaction at all screen.

That component really, really doesn't play nice with other mods.

I know, you're sick of hearing the long cutscenes. We all are. But if it's causing the cutscene to hang...

Alternatively, Blucher's "silly version" seems to work fine. One of these days, somebody will figure out what the difference is and fix it. Until then,we're pretty much doomed to either hear the long cutscenes or deal with fourth wall breakage.

I'm not sure which cutscenes that component deals with, but Aurora's Shoes has components that shorten some of the more tedious ones early on (namely the starting dungeon scene, the one with the Cowleds once you get out and the one after Gaelan before Spellhold, and also the Gorion battle if you're using BGT or Tutu).
