Nice job with the snow, too.
A furry hat, elastic mask, a pair of shiny marble dice, some people call them snake-eyes, but to me they look like mice

Cool! You can feel the cold by just watching the picture . That goes for the Winter Star too, perhaps even more so.
Thank you so much for your words Gorzag! I'm so glad you like it and it really means a lot to me to hear it creates a feeling!
No need to mention I love winter stuff

It is said that on the winter's eve, a silver snowbird appears, and the very first snow flows from it's silver wings...
Another matte painting! ^^

Info: Fornost Erain (Sindarin 'Northern-fortress of the Kings' from for(n) (north) + ost (fortress); "Norbury of the Kings" in Westron) was a city of Eriador in the north of Middle-earth. It was located at the south end of the North Downs, about 100 Númenórean miles north of Bree; after Fornost Erain was abandoned, the site became known as Deadmen's Dike, visited only by Rangers. (wikipedia)
Well, I love Tolkien's work and Silmarillion is my favourite book. I always wanted to do some art inspired by this book, so here it is! This matte painting took me quite a lot of time and effort but I hope it was worth it. ^^
I'd love to hear your thoughts! ^^

In to the void, the forgotten keep and the easthaven tower are all very nice. I like the style there m8. Very justin sweet, jason manley esque. Bravo. I'm only just getting my feetwetwith digital painting myself.
Wow, thank you so much for your words Big Poppa! It really means a lot to me to know that you like my style. Btw, talking about Jason Manley, I just learned his name some days before! lol But I have been long before a great fan of his work... Maybe one day, when I feel confident enough, I'll try an Icewind Dale style portrait as a tribute to him, what do you think?
Well, seeing that portrait you've made on your post, I can say for sure that a new star is rising!
PS: It's winterhaven tower, not easthaven...

Devotion to the code isn't always for the greater good. Sometimes you have to stand against the law, sometimes you have to stand against the gods themselves...

This portrait is a tribute to Jason Manley, one of my fav artists, whose awesome work always haunt my mind and I really learned a lot by his unique view on art.
Hope you like it! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

He looks like a crossbreed of Sauron and Batman . Especially as the colour scheme suits both Mordor from the LOTR movies and the newer Batman movies as well. Pretty cool, though.
Omg, a crossbreed! that paladin would be a dark knight and a dark lord together! WTF? I wouldn't have done better if it was intended! hahaha
At least I'm glad that you like it!

A lil' elven kitty! It's mysterious glow in the moonlight, is said to be a reminder of the light, that was flowing by the great Silver tree of Valinor!
The writing is in elvish language: "Cath'Quessir" = Elven cat
Another speedpaint ^^ Doing some practice on creating digital fur. lol

Now for a bit of mad nit-pickiness... put it down to me being a nerd, but I think there's some errors in your writing there, haha. I'd put up a pic of how I'd write it but I don't have my camera to take a quick pic of my handwriting. Where'd you get your elvish source, just out of curiosity?

Positive comments first 'cos I was raised correctly: this cat is all kinds of adorable. The fur-painting is quite nice, and the colours do make it look like it's actually luminous. There's something very elven about the ears, I find. It's a lovely piece.

Thank you so much for your words Raiha! I'm so happy you like it!
Now about the writing... I'm not entirely sure it is right, so you might have a pont. Firstly, you have to know it is in Qenya and not Sindarin. I think I've double checked about it with two different machines. The one is online and you cab find it here . The other is an add-on on Microsoft Word but I don't remember where I found it ^^ lol. If you know better, I'm quite open to hear your opinion. And I'm so happy you love elvish too! ^^
Edit PS: Woot! Awesome avatar portrait, is it your creation? Are you an artist too?
