Hi,

After a long time I decided to go back to Baldur's Gate 2 and I have some questions that you guys may know the answer.
Last time I installed the game I had installed also some mods, the one's I remember is Shadow Over Soubar, The Darkest Day,
and Big Picture, but those are the ones I remember (Installed the "best" mods that were avalible).
But I had a lot of headache trying to figure out wich one I had to install first, among other problems.
But that was a long time ago and new mods have been created and old improved.
So, what are the best Baldur's Gate 2 mods out there? (one that I really would like to keep is TDD, I had a lot
of fun with that one).
And MUCH more important, in which order should I install them?
I currently have only BG2 and ToB installed.

Going a little out of the topic, I would also like to know what happened to TDD, it seems that the last update
was in 2002 (at least the website) if that's the case, it is really a pitty.

Time to switch to new system, download this setup tool, and it will download, extract and install nearly all the mods you make it install, the latest available and compatible mods out there. There is 300+ mods in the list to choose, everyone is choose-able to be installed or not, so you can skip the ones you do not like.
Should you know, all the components that have been deemed to be compatible of those mods will be installed, according to the choices you make, there is three languages, five modes, and the possibility to unselect additional mods to not to be installed.
There is no component selection yet, as that system is still been worked out... and the BWS won't install any Kits cause the Kits have not been tested nor can they have been all choose-able, but soon that will change too.

Going a little out of the topic, I would also like to know what happened to TDD, it seems that the last update was in 2002 (at least the website) if that's the case, it is really a pitty.

It was absorber into a system that produced the latest version, TDDv1.03b -> TDDv1.12 here in SHS.

This topic is a bit in wrong place as the BP mod has evolved itself to be just one mod among others in the Megamod, so you should really read this forum for much more info etc.
Now, there is a manual for the BiG World Project in here but it's a rather large, and the current support topic for the project is this.

Well, first, thank you for the reply,
second, I was consfused where to post the topic and
posted it in the worng section... for that, sorry.

But, about the mods, you mentioned that BWS don't install
Kits, does that means that I won't be able to play with the
TDD Kits? If that's so, how do I install those kits?

I'm going to try the BWS today to see what happens...

Don't worry about it... I am more sorry that you mightn't get nearly as many replies as you would if you had posted this Megamod Help section.

But, about the mods, you mentioned that BWS don't install Kits, does that means that I won't be able to play with the TDD Kits? If that's so, how do I install those kits?

Well, there is nice link to a guide in here(the KitList v2.1) that should cover installing, but basically few of the TDD kits don't work correctly as they have not been tested, and there are features that have been redone, so for example the Kit immunities don't all work as they should.
