Compiled all the fixes and both hotfixes made for vecna till date into this package :) Extract over the original vecna files before installing to use this.

PS: You NEED the BG2Fixpack installed for some of the script changes to work (or even install)

EDIT: Reuploaded with 2 more fixed scripts.

EDIT: And reuploaded again.

I keep getting this error for Vecna on Big World install (Eng):

Your ANSI code page is set to a value of 1250. Changing it to 1252 (Latin)
for mod animation compatibility.

You must reboot to continue the installation. Reboot now? [Y]es [N]o

Changing system language to English (USA) didn't fix it. Besides, there is already hundred of mods installed and only Vecna complains about code pages. Any ideas?

Another question: do you recommend to play this mod before or after Planar Sphere? :> In fact it's the mod I'm looking forward the most  ;)

:crying: Sad that   Jube   hasn't been here since septenber 2011. Mod is one of the greatest mods ever.

Well i (though i'm only player not modder 8) ) say after Planar Sphere.

I recommend that you play this mod late as possible in SoA (play Watcher's Keep also, Demogorgon is just a little taste what is waiting at Vecna). So before you go to Tree of Life and face Irenicus or after TDD Mega quest (if you installed TDD) before transition to ToB.

Vecna has epic fights  :woot:  and you need very high level party and very high quality equipment.

Either don't install the mod, or make the whole install using the Latin codepage. System language and the codepage 1252(#3.2) is a little different thing.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

I tried to continue current installation after switch, but it didn't help. I guess I then need to reinstall whole BWP from scratch? (and hope that THIS time it works) :/

So there is no come-back from ToB even with BGT installed? Not cool, since there's not much to do in ToB alone.

No you can't go back to SoA areas from ToB. Like you can't go BG1 areas (Well maybe you can when Imp releases his long waited mod :whistling: ) from SoA.

Well at ToB you can go to Planar Sphere (Planar Sphere mod) using Planar Sphere ability and then to Slums but other areas aren't in worldmap (at least they didn't in my previous BWP game).

Shouldn't you be able to exit from the slums to the other areas of the Amn ?... specially if you use the Worldmap mods include the ToB areas to the worldmap component.

And yeah, I have meant to release the mod a while ago... but been playing the X-Com EW with the Long War mod too much(lately)... :P

It was long time ago so i don't remember for sure was SoA areas in worldmap at ToB. But i think that SoA areas wasn't. I check it when i get to ToB but it takes long time for me to get to ToB though.

What  :o you are wasting on your time something else and not work/play BG. Maybe you should quit doing other things and focus on BG like i do. :P

You want me to spoil everything. I think that's too big job. :P

It has 49 areas with very high level enemies like Lolth, Orcus, Elric, Demogorgon, demons, dragons and others.

Tons of very high level weapons and armors, tomes and so on.

Does the content feel vanilla? Like it could have been in the original game (even if there are high level items and stuff of that sort).

Well yes but then again all mod added feels like it belongs there for me. I'm not that picky. More is better me thinks. :P

There's a robot in this mod, and I'm not talking about a golem.

Also I don't understand how you can talk about it fitting with the game one post after admitting you fight multiple gods in it.

Yes it has so what.

Also I don't understand how you can talk about it fitting with the game one post after admitting you fight multiple gods in it.

Because i'm not that picky when it comes to good fighting. So it fits great in my BWP game, i don't care what others think about it.

:whistling: Beside SoS has Lolth too. Good fight that too. :P

These things are matter of opinion so i'm not going to comment on this matter any further.

"Like it could have been in the original game" is not really a matter of opinion, considering that the original game is an existing, set in stone thing!
