Get Firefox, then install the Adblock Plus add-on, go to Tools->Adblock Plus Preferences. Then go to Filters->Add Filter, then paste:

http://www.shsforums.net/public/js/3rd_party/prettify/*
into the input box and hit ok.

You can also do this in Opera from Tools > Advanced > Block Content (no special add-ons needed that I know of). I think even IE has an option to block specific sites, though it probably doesn't work half the time.

I don't know if others have mentioned this or not--I haven't been able to use the Search function for the last several days.

It doesn't seem to be working at all, no.

Can you guys help me compile a list of non-IE problems?

Yay, cool. I've been looking there, but haven't got enough brain to figure out that 'site' doesn't immediately stands for the entire SHS.

Still, it's too bright and fonts seem too bold. But they're ok when editing a post

I still cannot attach files, the roll down log in screen issues which has been mentioned as well. I am using the latest version of firefox.

The login screen works fine on my current version of Firefox, I'm about to update to the latest--I'll let you know what the results are.

Edit:
It works fine here. Do you have javascript disabled?

As for attaching files, go into your profile and enable the flash-based uploader. See if that makes a difference.

Or disable it if it's already enabled.

I am having huge, and I mean huge troubles with fast reply. Cursor freezes all the time, and I have to wait for several minutes to see what I've written/to move cursor again. (Yes, even this time). I click on "stop loading the page", and it helps somewhat, but a minute passes and it starts freezing again.

My work computer is so-so, and connection is so-so too, but I never had these troubles on PPG or G3.
My home computer is very good, connection is excellent - same problems. It's irritating. :(

Eek, ehm, the private conversations are plagued with attached files that neither I or Lollorian has posted, take a look, this picture is just a bit edited to remove the actual content of the post by painting it black:

And no, I didn't download those either.
And if you as the moderators have access to the personal conversation between me and Lollorian, go here and take a look.

Well, I might as well mention that this has happened to my posts in many convos (methinks some 7 times ... one of them was an attached image lol ) and did I report this btw (in a convo )

And I've seen other people in my conversations get attachments too ... Not a serious problem (until I get the oh-so-elusive-special-member-only attachment )

Yeah, thanks--one of the things we're looking into. :)

In the meantime, obviously, please don't open said attachments.

Why not out of interest? Yeah, I understand that if we don't have the law abiding right to use all and everything we get our hands on(and thus the right to use them in our own mods), we can at least be interested enough to watch what's there... while not announcing it to anyone. And no, the download counts weren't affected by my actions, and probably will not be.Posted Image

I use Opera 9.25 at work and Opera 9.24 at home(had the latest version but downgraded - wasn't happy with the latest Opera's design and speed).

That's very, very odd. I don't think anyone else has experienced that--will talk to SConrad when I see him on and see if he has any ideas.

The pseudo-thread format of PMs is nicely awkward and counterintuitive.  What do the "x" and "page" symbols by the messages - err threads - mean?

"Tyranny is a quiet thing at first, a prim and proper lady pursing her lips and shaking her head disapprovingly, asking, well what were you doing (wearing that dress, walking home at that hour, expressing those inappropriate thoughts) anyway? It's subtle and insidious, disguised as reasonable precautions which become more and more oppressive over time, until our lives are defined by the things we must avoid. She's easy enough to agree with, after all, she's only trying to help -- and yet she's one of the most dangerous influences we face, because if she prevails, it puts the raping, robbing, axe-wielding madmen of the world in complete control. Eventually they'll barely need to wield a thing, all they'll have to do is leer menacingly and we fall all over ourselves trying to placate them." -godlizard

For those having a problem with the drop down log-which is not large enough to display the entire button on my system by the way, if you move your mouse to the top of the username/password fields and get the I cursor there, it should solve some of the problems.

Can we have a second link to the conventional download page as well for those of us who might not be patient enough to pixel hunt for the I cursor?

I don't have the time to sift through the thread for it; has anyone else noted that the file attachment limit has shrunk to 10MB?

Sneak previews from hidden forums. Nice touch!

Can I count on you for backup copies, Jarno, if my system fails?

And on another note . . . The search feature still doesn't seem to be working :(
